lobasuu Posted August 18, 2005 Posted August 18, 2005 Well, since i need the cobweb duster-thingy to get through the milkman level, then i need 800 arrowheads, right? Well, i bought the thingy that allows me to detect the arrowheads, but even when the colour turns blue and the sound changes, no matter how hard i smash the button, i cannot dig it up. Any hints?
Tahnee Posted August 18, 2005 Posted August 18, 2005 Well, i bought the thingy that allows me to detect the arrowheads, but even when the colour turns blue and the sound changes, no matter how hard i smash the button, i cannot dig it up. Any hints? I think that might be your problem: it turns blue when you're getting farther away from the arrowhead. Try going in the opposite direction--it should eventually turn a very bright purple and the noise it makes will be pretty loud and high-pitched. You should be able to dig the arrowheads up pretty quickly then.
Smon Posted August 18, 2005 Posted August 18, 2005 It'll also vibrate if its PS2 and Xbox version, just do what I do, if it can propel itself across a table then you can dig it up easily.
lobasuu Posted August 19, 2005 Author Posted August 19, 2005 thanks! I got it, though i had to turn off every other sound except the FX one to notice the sound...thanks again!
Prosky Posted August 30, 2005 Posted August 30, 2005 There's one spot, very low, where the most arrowheads can be found. It's a magical place.
Smon Posted August 31, 2005 Posted August 31, 2005 There's one spot, very low, where the most arrowheads can be found. It's a magical place. Cruller's Sanctuary? A cave? Fortress of Solitude?
Joshi Posted August 31, 2005 Posted August 31, 2005 Cruller's is the only place I can thing of, but for some stupid reason, I never tried.
Smon Posted September 1, 2005 Posted September 1, 2005 o.o I'm offta check! Edit:Just checked, couldnt find crap... :-(
Joshi Posted September 1, 2005 Posted September 1, 2005 Same here, I'm beginning to think he maybe meant when you go down in that giant divers thingie and end up in the bubble right before you call linda.
Smon Posted September 1, 2005 Posted September 1, 2005 Same here, I'm beginning to think he maybe meant when you go down in that giant divers thingie and end up in the bubble right before you call linda. Check the caves first! i'm not willing to exept that...
Joshi Posted September 2, 2005 Posted September 2, 2005 Caves aren't magical enough. I do remember a lot of shallow arrowheads in that bubble thing, I never checked with my dowsing rod though. Prosky, you may as well give it away.
Alphanaut64 Posted September 2, 2005 Posted September 2, 2005 Note: that giant purple rock in Ford's santuary is really a giant psitananium meteor.(a.k.a)world's biggest arrowhead!
Joshi Posted September 2, 2005 Posted September 2, 2005 Yes, I knew, but despite that, there are no arrow heads, and the dowsing rod can find nothing.
happy_endings Posted September 6, 2005 Posted September 6, 2005 Hi. I also have some problems to use the dowsing rod. Can somebody please tell me how to use it. I know that the dowsing rob should turn lilac but how can I dig for the arrowheads. I play the game on a PC.
Joshi Posted September 6, 2005 Posted September 6, 2005 Keep repeatedly pressing the F key, the fast you do it the higher up that little bar on the left will go, when it hits the top, you'll get your arrowhead. The more violet the colour and higher pitch of the sound, the closer you'll be and the easier it'll be.
