Elliott Hird Posted August 19, 2005 Posted August 19, 2005 I am announcing a possible release of Monkey Island 5, titled "Return To Monkey Island". I do not work for LucasArts, and I don't know whether I will buy/lend the rights to Monkey Island, or even make it FOR LucasArts. This idea is in very early stages of development and if you could give ideas, your support and whatever else it would be greatly appreciated. I know you guys got Dominic Armato to do the hoax of this... let's see what happens when he finds out about the real thing! Anybody know where I can contact him?
Scummbuddy Posted August 19, 2005 Posted August 19, 2005 Well, if you were to actually get LucasArts to discuss the possible selling of the rights to Monkey Island to you, you would have to sign a non-disclosement agreement, which you would have just broke by posting here all about it. But don't you think that Ron Gilbert would be a better person to get to take the reigns of Monkey Island, as he has stated that he wants it very much? So, why don't you become one of his mysterious investors and help him get the rights?

Other requirements for doing this include: lousy plot, lousy dialogue and lots of Dmnkly Amoboo stalking.
