Alora Vinolo
How the force attribute determines a melee fight : just for reaching the enemy? or also in the damage? Elsewhere dexterity is much more interessant with grace feat. Could I have an idee of the difficulty () asked for one hit on enemy? does it depend on the weapon ? I did not found the place, if there is one, where I could re-read the dialogue threads like in kotor 1. I would have been very useful for too fast speaker... The persusasion skill does nt seem to really work even with high charisma. Is it worth to pick the persuation jedi powers (two steps)? thanks for any answer!! ) On another level, I think there should be a neutral jedi path, with bonuses also! Is ther many bonuses when you clearly choose your pass, either the dark one or the ligght one?
Jeff
Welcome to swk! In the future, try to make your posts a little more clear. Some of the things you said I can't understand. More specifically the first part... As for the other stuff... The persusasion skill does nt seem to really work even with high charisma. Is it worth to pick the persuation jedi powers (two steps)? The persuade skill almost always worked for me, and I didn't have a really high charisma. I did not found the place, if there is one, where I could re-read the dialogue threads like in kotor 1. I would have been very useful for too fast speaker...I doubt the existance of such a place. Is ther many bonuses when you clearly choose your pass, either the dark one or the ligght one? When you reach LS or DS mastery, you get certain bonuses depending on your class I believe. Alora Vinolo
Welcome to swk! In the future, try to make your posts a little more clear. Some of the things you said I can't understand. More specifically the first part... Thanks for patien anwer and welcomming ! It must by my english which is not as good as I hoped . retry for the start: How the succes of a simple attack is defined? Is it a D20 + (your force modifier bonus) test against a D20 + (enemy dexterity modifier bonus) ? How the difficulty to hit is determine? and secondly, how does the force attribute influence the damage done with mellee weapon? because if it is not important enough, Dexterity is much more interesting to enhance as soon as you can use it in attack through the (something like) "grace" jedi power. :waive1:As for the other stuff... The persuade skill almost always worked for me, and I didn't have a really high charisma. But did you use it with a high skill value or with the jedi power associated? Jeff
retry for the start: How the succes of a simple attack is defined? Is it a D20 + (your force modifier bonus) test against a D20 + (enemy dexterity modifier bonus) ? How the difficulty to hit is determine? Ahh. Now I understand. Unfortunately, I do not know the exact rules for the d20 system. Here is a link which explains the rules for d20 in roleplaying. and secondly, how does the force attribute influence the damage done with mellee weapon? because if it is not important enough, Dexterity is much more interesting to enhance as soon as you can use it in attack through the (something like) "grace" jedi power.I assume you mean strength when referring to force. Again, I do not know the official d20 rules, but I know the strength is multiplied by something to see whether you hit or how much damage it does, I forget which one. You might find something at the link I found above. But did you use it with a high skill value or with the jedi power associated? Yes, generally persuade is my highest skill. And I usually had the jedi powers as well, though those are used seperately from the regular persuade skill.
Darth333
Bienvenue aux forums (from your style of writing I am guessing that you speak French, sorry if I am wrong. Don't worry about the language, you write it well enough! I had the same problem when I joined the forums - the more you post, the better you will become in English ) The persuade option is linked to your Charisma, persuasion skill and PC level: the higher your level, the higher your skill needs to be. To re-read dialogues (an even re-listen to them), just go to your "messages" screen and click on "dialogue": Here's a screenie of how it looks like more or less (the only thing is that I was in the Feedback screen instead of "dialogues" when I took the screenshot). http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v144/Darth333/wheream.jpg

Jackel
As Darth333 said "Bienvenue aux forums Alora". The persusasion skill does nt seem to really work even with high charisma. Is it worth to pick the persuation jedi powers (two steps)? I picked the jedi persuasion power when ever I went evil and was a dark jedi. It was fun to roleplay someone "forcing" someone to do something or answer my question. If i played lightside I relied on a deceant charisma and a high number for the persuade skill. On another level, I think there should be a neutral jedi path, with bonuses also! Is ther many bonuses when you clearly choose your pass, either the dark one or the ligght one? When you get to 100% good or evil you get a bonus to your skills. Guardian +3 strength Stentinal +3 constiution Consuler +3 wisdom At some point I earned a new force power "force elightenment" when I was playing as a good character in The Sith Lords. I would assume you recieve a new power when you go evil aswell. Hope that helps.
RedHawke
At some point I earned a new force power "force elightenment" when I was playing as a good character in The Sith Lords. You get that LS power, or a DS one, after you either meet with the Jedi masters (If you let them live) or meet with Kreia (If you killed the masters) on Dantooine in the rebuilt enclaive at the end of that cutscene. I would assume you recieve a new power when you go evil aswell. Force Enlightenment for LS Force Crush for DS
Achilles
When you get to 100% good or evil you get a bonus to your skills. Guardian +3 strength Stentinal +3 constiution Consuler +3 wisdom Partially true. Light side mastery Guardian: +3 STR Sentinel: +3 CON Consular: +3 CHA Dark side mastery Guardian: +1d8 damage Sentinel: Poison Immunity Consular: +50 to Force Points These bonuses apply to both KotOR games. lukeiamyourdad
L'invasion des francophones commencent!!! Didn't know D333 had difficulties when she first joined. I never had any. Then again, I'm better you all I think they replaced the DS Sentinel mastery with a +3 to DEX in TSL. Mainly because everyone thought poison immunity is pretty lame. Achilles
^^^^ That would be very cool, if true. I guess I'll have to do another DS playthough to find out for sure
