RoxStar Posted September 16, 2005 Posted September 16, 2005 Hey everyone, I'm looking to move my little site to a real webhosting service, the problem is, I don't know which one to pick! Everytime I google "best webhosting services" I just get an ad for a webhosting service. I'm looking for About 4 gb of bandwidth per month Fast, reliable servers No ads (But I could put my own up) Reasonable Price Could anyone hook me up? By the way, I need it to support php, mysql, and all the other jazz.
ChAiNz.2da Posted September 17, 2005 Posted September 17, 2005 I use this hosting service: http://www.ehostpros.com/ Good prices and TONS of options that are included with your account. Also, if you pre-pay for an entire year on either the Silver, Gold or Platinum Service, they'll double your bandwidth and webspace Pricing Chart for normal service: http://www.ehostpros.com/hosting/hosting.html Pricing Chart for annual pre-paid bonus account: http://www.ehostpros.com/hosting/promohosting.html --------------- However, they do have this warning before you sign-up: Due to security/spam issues FormMail.pl, FormMail.cgi including under cgi-sys are banned for use on our servers. (Just in case that was something you had in mind)
Darth Groovy Posted September 17, 2005 Posted September 17, 2005 http://www.netfirms.com/ I been using this service for about two years. I have no complaints what so ever.
ZBomber Posted September 17, 2005 Posted September 17, 2005 http://www.amxhost.com I use that for my site, about 700 MB of space, 7 gig a month, VERY CHEAP.
Joetheeskimo Posted September 17, 2005 Posted September 17, 2005 surpasshosting.com Cheapest is $48.00 a year, offering 2 GB of disk space, 30 GB of bandwith, unlimited full-priveleged databases, FTP accounts, and subdomains, and suppot for PHP (with phpMyAdmin), Flash, et.c etc. etc. In a nutshell, it's the most incredible hosting I've ever seen, with the most features for the lowest price. And it uses my favorite Control Panel software - cPanel X.
