jokemaster
"Don't think about it too much. Most it is riddles, a little bit of truth, and the rest nonsense." He shrugged. "It's been suggested that they just wait around here coming up with a new more confusing riddle for the next traveler that come around."
Black Knight of Keno
"If it is my destiny" he answered and nodded. "If it is so, it will become my duty to keep the elven tales and tongues fresh in the human minds" he said and sighed quietly. "But eventually the halls of Mandos will call even me, however old I will be" His free hand touched her cheek softly and he took a deep breath. "Emara, you could be easily mistaken for an elven royal, and it is a shame. I should not be able to forget that you are mortal" he mumbled and leaned close. "But your beauty is something I have never sen before, and I am glad I met you" he whispered before he stole himself another kiss from her red lips

Writer
"That's not likely," Ever muttered. ---------- Emara squeezed Ilenal's hand and then turned to go back to her room.
Black Knight of Keno
He smiled as he watched Emara go, then grabbed the hanle of his sword and rose it from the ground and slipped it into the scabbard. He first turned away and then started walking quietly as the normal singing continued in the woods --Yet another time skip dum-de-dum-- (But you can finish what you were doing in your next post) Ilenal slowly woke up where he had fallen asleep, which was the bed next to Emara's, the two seperated by a lousy meter or so. He silently looked at the woman figure on the bed and smiled. Galadriel had obviously planned this unisex-arrangement in the room by reading their minds. There were Ilenal and Emara, Tanos and Ever and then Caer in three seperate rooms, even if there were no closeable doors. He yawned and looked at the window with a smile. It was still dark outside and he started to hum an old children's song telling about the mornings of Valinor. He could see it almost himself
jokemaster
Caer hadn't slept in the bed that had been provided, but instead had slept on the ground. When he woke up, he just sat down on the chair in his room.
Writer
Quietly, as she awoke, Emara joined Ilenal's humming as she lay in bed. ----------------- Tanos sat up immediately after waking up and glanced over at Ever, who looked as if he had gotten almost no sleep. "You let her words trouble you," Tanos told his friend. Ever shrugged. "I know," he said. "But we still have one more day here. If I can dismiss her words long enough, I'll be able to rest well enough to be ready to leave tomorrow." Tanos didn't see a reason to say anything more as he continued sitting on the bed, staring out into the trees.
Black Knight of Keno
Ilenal looked over at Emara and smiled. He slowly rose up, his nack to the woman and took his saddlebag. He took out what he wore when staying surely for the whole day in one place and dressed up. The cloth was the finest of blue and silver silks and of elven made, the cloak was made of light blue silk with the coat of arms of the house of Finarfin on it with a shiny silver colour. He quickly brushed his hair a bit better and off his face, then turned and walked to Emara. "It's time for me to go talk with Galadriel... Would you like to join me?" Black Knight of Keno
"Put on the best you have. It's the Lady and the Lord that we are meeting" he smiled and walked out of the room, taking one last look at Emara before walking out to smell the fresh morning air. He could see Tanos and Ever in the other room, both wide awake. The elf sighed and looked at the clear sky peeking throught the leaves of the lush trees. He turned and walked into Tanos' and Ever's room. "Tanos, I and Emara are leaving to meet Galadriel. I'll send someone to bring you breakfast on the way there, if you'd like" he said in common, unlike what he usually would do

Black Knight of Keno
The elf smiled and nodded, vanishing again outside and waited for Emara to show up, He looked down and then followed up into the next trees in sight, seeing movement in them. The elves moved silently in their homes and outside them, some singing, some talking with each others, some just minding their own business and staying silent. Ilenal was once much like them... Then he saw the war and saw how the last of the High Kings of Noldor fell. It was a day he would never forget
Writer
After some time, Emara came out to join Ilenal and watched him for a moment as he watched the other Elves. Then, she touched his arm and said, "I'm ready."
Black Knight of Keno
Ilenal snapped out of his thoughts as she touched his arm. a tear dropped down and he wiped it off, giving her a smile. "Sorry... I was in my thoughts" he said and took her hand. He was glad of her being there with him. The elf took a step and looked into Emara's eyes quietly. As they started walking, he tried to keep his look ahead of himself, but at times could not becuase he could see the beauty of Emara from the corner of his eye
Writer
Emara walked in silence next to Ilenal, thinking about the tear she saw him brush away. He'd said he was thinking and Emara was sure he had been, but she was also sure he'd been thinking of the past... the way things had been. Having completely convinced herself of this, she continued to walk in silence.
Black Knight of Keno
The silence was slowly pressuring Ilenal and he finally spoke fluently a whole sentence, but not on any tongue she had probably heard, because it died many hundreds of years ago. He shook his head straight and spoke again. "Why do you keep silent? The sun is shining and the sky is bright" he said in quenya. A shocked look was layed upon Ilenal from another elf that had not probably even had his second hundred summer behind him. Ilenal looked at the elf and the small, compared to Ilenal, elf scurried off
Writer
"I am trying to solve a riddle," Emara answered quietly in Quenya. "This meeting with the Lord and Lady of Lorien... did my invitation come from them through you or did it come from you?"
Black Knight of Keno
Ilenal was amused of her question and shook his head. "It came from me. Lady Galadriel does not have that much of power, for I do not take her as someone I should take commands from. I only take commands from who I think are worthy for that kind of a power... And the last High King of Noldor died many millenias ago" he said and looked at her. He had a smile on his face as he nodded. "But I never forget that they rule over the lands and are much wiser and older than me" he noted

Black Knight of Keno
Ilenal smiled and looked at her. "Cirdan sent word that the ship for those few leaving from Lorien is ready. He also sent a preasent for the Lord and Lady for their anniversary" he told her and turned his eyes back onto the wooden steps that led first up onto a small platform, then up and over to the palace's entrance. Ilenal stopped and looked at one of the guards. "Could you please tell the cook to get a nice breakfast for four into the house we are staying in" he asked and the guard nodded, leaving for the palace kitchen. The elf turned back to Emara and gave her a short kiss. "Now behave yourself" he whispered before he led her over to the white and silver doors that opened slowly. They could slowly see two sitting figures up on two thrones in the end of a set of tall steps. Ilenal walked down the bright red carped with Emara' hand in his. He released her hand and took a step forwards alone, kneeling and bowing his head at the same
