Next Game movie = Castlevania...

Nonsense, fanboys will be the first to kill the movie if it sucks. Fanboys actually respect the source material.

At this point, the Halo 2 game is so polluted with smack talkers, spoiled sports and other assorted asshats, that I doubt 50% of them even played the SP version, or even know who the hell Master Chief is, because they are too busy bragging and acting like spoiled sports. The kids will be running out to see the movie, and they will like it....even if it sucks. But the older fans of the source material, will be the first to admit wether it sucks or not. I should know, i'll be one of them.

Well, as i've said before, I thought the SP and the plot in Halo was as generic-sci-fi as you could get, so i'm mystified why people think it will make a better movie than doom.

I don't actually know much about Castlevania, but it sounds perfect for Anderson to turn it into another of his generic cgi-fests. I give it a 5 out of 10. In advance.

I just finished MGS and it probably does have enough of a dense plot (especially with the sequels) to fill a decent movie. The resident evil films also have a pretty dense plot, shame they chucked it all out the windows for the generic cgi-fests...

Exactly, four hours of cutscenes, cut it down a bit and you have a 3 hour movie. Its just tough to decide what to cut out...

Anyways, just finished Resident Evil 4. If they stick to the plot of that game it could also make a good movie. Most video game movies are about an hour and half. They need to make them longer to include more plot and character development. The film makers need to remember that a lot of people who watch movies don't play video games (even though games sell more than movies...)
