My list (usually playing a LS female, and assuming no mods):

 

I'll use T3 when necessary for major computer/security details (e.g. Sith base on Taris, but only to get the doors open and the computer system hacked--after that, I left the base briefly to change party members). Otherwise the droids don't get used a lot unless I'm doing DS, in which case HK gets used a lot.

 

Dantooine Tainted Grove: Canderous and Carth

Dantooine Burial Mound: Carth and Bastila

 

Kashyyyk before you meet Chuundar: Zaalbar and Bastila

Kashyyyk after you meet Chuundar: Bastila and Juhani

I used Canderous and Bastilla as much as I could. But if not, HK-47 and Juhani in Korriban. In Kashyyyk I took Zaalbar, and when it leves me Canderous. In the lower Shadowlands, I left Canderous for Jolee.

 

But anyway, I don´t fancy too much Jolee. I believe it´s because I haven´t used it too much.

Since when is Jolee an "it"?

I basically took Carth and Bastila everywhere because they seemed like the most important characters, I sometimes brought HK-47 or Jolee in place of Carth. I of course took Zaalbar and Mission to Kashyyyk though.
