[SL]Jaxter Posted November 15, 2005 Posted November 15, 2005 Is there an in-game way to boot/kick players, rotate/restart maps, etc? There is a place to set adminpw in the cfgs, so I am thinking that this is like an rcon password? How do we use this? I was in a server and they were executing server commands by typing commands into chat (i am assuming after somehow entering the adminpw in to the game).

Chris-h11 Posted November 18, 2005 Posted November 18, 2005 Yea, just making sure he knew that. Oh Ok, I thought that was Directed towards me.
Carpaltunnal Posted November 19, 2005 Posted November 19, 2005 I made a colour 2 page quickreference for ingame server administration to hand out to some of my co-admins and clanmates.. you can find it here: http://members.shaw.ca/carpaltunnal/SWBF2RemoteAdminRef_Nov2005.pdf CT

derheis Posted November 30, 2005 Posted November 30, 2005 Is there a cmd for banning or only just booting? Yeah i know the readme doesn't mention it, but it was worth a shot. Thanks.
sTo0z Posted November 30, 2005 Posted November 30, 2005 Well I mentioned this in its own thread, but no one seems to care, so I'll say it here too. /admin /players is messed up. Thanks for links to guides though!
derheis Posted November 30, 2005 Posted November 30, 2005 Yeah the names scroll fast, i just do the command a few times just to see what number is then bam!...booted.
[SL]Jaxter Posted December 2, 2005 Author Posted December 2, 2005 if the server is full, hit tab. The number of lines down the name is is their number. However if the server is not full this may not work, because is there are only 12 people on a server, that doesnt mean that the numbers are 1-12
{Sith}Sevver Posted December 4, 2005 Posted December 4, 2005 Carpaltunnel: Might I get permission from you to upload the PDF to our clan website if I give proper props to you for creation? Would be greatly appreciated.
Stryker412 Posted December 4, 2005 Posted December 4, 2005 Wow, I didn't even realize that I made the beta readme file.
Chris-h11 Posted December 8, 2005 Posted December 8, 2005 Wow, I didn't even realize that I made the beta readme file. What do you mean you MADE it?

zerted Posted December 8, 2005 Posted December 8, 2005 We did post a sticky about this... I even put together a text file. What happened? A sticky? Who reads a sticky when there is a small "start a new thread" button to be pressed?
Chris-h11 Posted December 11, 2005 Posted December 11, 2005 A sticky? Who reads a sticky when there is a small "start a new thread" button to be pressed? I know, Really... No one even reads it
