The clones finally started to give way a little and the CIS, led by C55-3 charged head on to take the advantage while it was still there. The clones tried to counter-attack, but the CIS moved quickly in a wedge formation and broke through the clone lines. C55-3 was the tip and clotheslined two clones. Then he fired up his dual wrist blasters and shot all around.

As the Republic's forces started to give way a little, the Commanders overhead started to doubt their assault. There was no messing around anymore. The Republic needed those energy crystals. That is why they sent their most elite team of clones to do the daring mission: sneak behind enemy lines to a remote energy facility. Infiltrate the facility and retrieve the energy crystal. The Republic wasn't going to leave empty handed. Not while Alpha Squad was on the job.

Eithrel had to hold on to keep his small body from flopping around when his gunship landed. He and the other 50 Warriors he had brought with him were sent on important Republic orders from the Jedi council themselves. Once stepping (and nearly falling) off the gunships he took control of his troops.

"Get me the person who is in command of this assault, I need to know whats going on." He barked at a nearby Serian.

"You" He said to another, "Get the men in default formation. Snipers covering the rear, Standards up front, and vehicle killers on the sides."

"And You." He said to a Serian officer "Take half the men, Put them in spread formation and make 'em help out the-these thingers...errm..."

"Clones?" The Serian said with a raised eyebrow.

"Uh Yes, yes Cones." Eithrel said "Now go get the Standards and help (btw standards are Standard Serian Warriors) out the cones."

The officer laughed as he walked away. I should really releave that officer, Eithrel thought. But their was no longer time.

CIS were breaking the Clone lines. He formed up the rest of the men and started firing.

With the combined strength of the Serian Warriors, The clones slowly began pushing back the lines...

Niner peered down upon the battle below through a porthole in the gunship. Since the arrival of the Serian Warriors, the Republic started to push back the the Sepratists' defensive lines. This was a good sign. It would make it easier for Alpha Squad to sneak behind the lines to get to their target. The bad part, less clankers to smash.

 

Slowly and steadily, the gunship decended to the surface of Mygeeto, carrying the elite commandos of Alpha Squad, looking to save the Republic, again.

Eithrel grunted. He got news there CIS back deep into the mygeeto, The city area. He needed more troops to search and engage forces hiding there. He needed to call in 300 of his 500 reserve troops. If he called in, Another officer higher than him would take command and he would be put back in command of a platoon. Eithrel shrugged, He couldn't always have power. He called them in.

After calling in, 20 gunships decended from the ship Warrior. They landed and Eithrel was put in command of a platoon of 15. Their main objective was to search a museum nearby.

"The warrior confirms tinnies in the museum." A Squad leader said to him, grinning.

"Ok, get back to your squad."He said to him, Then said on the platoon comm "Saddle up boys, we got about a company of super battle droids holed up in the museum about 5 klicks from here."

They reached the museum in about 15 minutes.

"What do the recon droids report?"He called to a squad leader.

"One main door at the front, 2 personel doors to the side and rear." The squad leader called back.

"Ok, First and Second squad come with me and we'll take the front doors. Third, You take the back door and Forth takes the side door. We'll come through the front doors blasting, And 3rd and 4th take anyone who trys to escape. No prisoners."

They set up in position and First and Second squad came bursting through the front door DC-15's firing.

Eithrel nailed two Supers by the stairs and took out a engineer driod on a workbench. 2 Standards fired hard but both got hit. a sniper took out a droid hiding behind a civilian vehicle. Then Eithrel heard a whoosh of a Anti-Tank cannon firing and taking out another Civilian vehicle and four droids. Eithrel rolled and fired at a droid, He missed and tried to reload but got hit in the shoulder, knocking him to the ground. He felt hands pulling him to cover. He sat up against a wall while a medic tried to put some bacta spray on him.

He shoved the medic off. "I'm young, I'll heal fine." The medic shrugged and poured the spray on his shoulder anyway. Eithrel got up and blasted a droid fumbling for his weopen. A organic officer was fleeing and Eithrel had to stop his troops from shooting him. Instead, Eithrel shot him in the leg and ran to his new prisoner. Eithrel rolled him around and held his gun to his head. "come with us"

He handed over the prisoner to a sniper. "Don't let him get away." He warned him.

All the droids were blasted on the ground.

"Casulties?" he said to his second-in-command officer.

"5 down." The officer replied.

Eithrel shuddered but not much. 15 against 50 and only 5 down was pretty good.

A voice was on the headquarters commlink telling him that his platoon had another objective.

Once the gunship was firmly landed on the ground, Alpha Squad unloaded and secured the area. There were no hostiles in their general area, but Niner could see motion on his HUD sensor.

 

Niner and his squad ran straight for a cliff wall, in order to get some cover for their six. They scaled the wall until they came to a cave. In went a EC gernade, quickly followed by the members of Alpha Squad.

 

When Niner entered he quickly scaned the area for hostiles, but there was nothing but a handfull of sparking droids, laying motionless on the cold floor of the cave. "Let's move on," Niner ordered his squad.

 

Alpha Squad continued through the cave until they came to some stairs. Niner crawled up the stairs while the rest of his squad gave him cover. When he got to the top he peered down the scope of his DC-17. There appeared to be a command post overlooking the main battlefield. Niner motioned to his squad to follow him.

 

"Any suggestions?" Niner asked over their short range comlink.

Viper heard something an turned. A droid was standing there looking from the Jedi to Viper and back again.

"Don't worry about him worry about yourse-"

Too late, the droid was taken out by a sniper. A shot almsot hit Vipers foot and Viper backed away into the cover. He got out his blaster pistols and left the Jedi to his own devices. He jetted up to the sniper and hit him around the face with his wrist attached blades. The blade cut deep into his helmet and blood spurted everywhere. Viper pulled back and looked around. The CIS was loosing ground fast. He spoke into his wrist comm.

"I need more droids here ASAP!"

"Yes sir, there is a several garrisons heading your way"

Sure enough droid carrier after droid carrier arrived. The droids deployed and set to work. Viper wiped the blood off of his visor. He stepped back and watch the droids kill clone after clone. Viper jetted down and lead the assualt one a landing area. The droids advanced killing. Those who fell were not noticed. The droids over whelmed the landing zone and captured a clone commander. Viper knew there was no cause for a celebration one landing zone of so mnay meant nothing. He motioned the droids towards the museum where he smoke rising. Viper himself jetted towards the main command post and saw the clint of clone armour. Viper Ordered a few droids to turrets and not to fire until he gave the word. He smiled

"Alpha squad you should know better than this"

Viper jetted up towards them but stopped. He knew Alpha squad was heavily armed. He walked towards their position....

 

(Just to let you know Viper used to be a republic soldier but turned on them and joined the CIS)

The situation obviously called for a standard room breach, including a couple of stun gernades and electrostatic shock detonators, along with a few well placed bolts from the DC-17 to clean things up. Niner always liked to ask his squad in case there was a better solution.

 

After assessing the situation, it was decided that they would stick with standard room breach. In went the gernades, once again followed by the commandos. Niner saw the bright flash of the gernades going off, but quickly shook it off and lined up his shots for the cleanup. There was nothing left but a bunch of droid scraps and a few organic commanders on the floor with plasma bolt holes in them. Once the command post was secure, Niner finished off the the wounded enemies with his vibro blade.

 

Then Niner rushed to the window to look down on battle unfolding. This was the perfect point to set up a command post. "Alpha, contact the advisor, tell them to send some reinforcements to these coordinates. And take out your sniper attatchments," Niner barked.

 

And the snipestorm began to rain on the Sepratists.

Viper stepped into the bunker where Alpha squad was placed, through a caved in wall. He set an auto turret up by the hole and continued. He came to a halt outside the room where Alpha squad were firing down upon the CIS. He took a deep breath and withdrew his pitols from their holsters. He walked into the room

"well well" he said pleasently "nice to see the republic still has room for babies in it's ranks" Viper pointed his blasters at the group....

Niner hadn't expected the enemy to try to retake the command post, but he had planned for it. He had always been told to plan for everything, and while they were casually picking off droids, Alpha Squad had been planning.

 

Niner waved his two of his fingers towards the opening in which they had been sniping from. On his mark, Alpha Squad dove out the opening of the cave. They were plumeting towards the ground over two hundred feet below them. That is, until their pre-placed grappling hooks caught them mid-fall.

 

Niner gripped the wall and pulled out the remote detonator singal remote. He pointed to the ground and let go of the wall. As he dropped he pushed the button on the remote. Rocks flew out from the command post where the remote detonator had been placed almost as soon as they set up positions and from the entrance of the cave that was placed upon entering. This sealed up the opening and hopefully trapped the enemy inside.

 

Rocks scattered around them as Alpha Squad touched the ground. "Hold the reinforcements," Niner said in his long range comlink. "The command post is out of business." Then they ran for cover.

"Well thats no fun" Viper said smiling as Alpha squad ran

"Typical Alpha squad running at the first sighn of danger"

Viper turned back the way he came and planted a bomb on the now sealed hole. He stepped back and it blew

"Morons, what do they think I am?"

He said muttering to himself

Viper jetted down. He watched Alpha squadron run for cover and tutted. He ran back to control and told the commander to watch out for Alpha sqaudron. He then ran to the Museum. He knew the inside was now crawling with clones. He took a small squad of droids in to try and re-capture it....

"We've got to get to that facility," Niner told his squad. "And Fast. If our intel is correct, we should be able to get thier through this canyon." Niner pointed to the holomap projector image. "Let's go."

 

Alpha Squad ran straigt across the open ground to get to the canyon, which was about half a klick away. One droid shot at them, and the rest followed. Blaster bolts were sizzling past them as they ran.

 

Another blaster bolt nicked Niner's arm plate, but deflected off his personal shield. Once they got to the canyon, Alpha Squad set up a defense. Quickly, they set up the E-Web Repeating blaster turret. One squad member hopped on and started mowing down on the incoming droids. Another set up a line of mines while Niner and the last commando sprayed plasma from their DC-17's.

 

The droids were being cut up at a rapid pace, but their numbers seemed to be growing even rapider. Hopefully they were lightening the load for the Serian Warriors, but Niner got the idea that they weren't.

All of Alpha Squad was now within their makeshift bunker, shooting down droids by the hundreds. The droids were advancing slowly but constantly. Soon they would hit the mine field, then in the confusion, Alpha Squad would sneak away into the canyon. Some might call it cowardly, but Niner knew it was smart. After all, they weren't sent to lay waste to droids. Orbital strikes could do that. They were here to because there was something on this planet that the Republic wanted. Or wanted to take away from the Sepratists. Whichever one it was, Alpha Squad was going to get that crystal.

 

Niner slapped a new clip into his rifle. "Almost there," he said to his squad. "Gernades out." Alpha Squad stopped fireing and pulled out some gernades. "Now!" The gernades went flying over to the back of the droid formation just as the mines went off. Niner's visor turned white, then black, then back to normal in just a couple of seconds. Static filled his ears. Before he realized it, Niner was running through the canyon, his squad right behind him. Clumps of ground were falling on his armor, covering his body in brown streaks.

 

They had made into the canyon. Nothing could stop them from reaching the facility now. Nothing ever could stop Alpha Squad.

"thanks for saving me." said the jedi after settling down.

"No problem. just follow me here shortly because we are going to be needed."

"O.K. so what's the plan then?"

"Well, we need to be stealthy so we need to keep out from the open, go from building to building."

"What is our target?"

"Defending alpha squad. Not really a target though."

"O.K., you lead the way." the two men start to a building high above the battle and zoom in with their snipers, searching for alpha squad.

Alpha Squad ran through the canyon. There was almost no opposition. They were almost out of the canyon and into the city that they had to cross through. "Almost to the target," Niner told his squad.

 

Just then, a droid patrol started firing from a cliff above them. Niner flattened himself against the cliff wall to assess the situation. Two seconds later, he had formed a plan and started giving orders.

 

The other members of Alpha Squad positioned themselves about a quarter of a klick away. Niner was left below the droid patrol. With all of the members out of firing range, Niner took out a remote detonator and primed it. He threw it over his head and onto the cliff where the droid patrol was stationed.

 

Niner ran towards his squad and pulled out the remote. The droids opened fire on him as he ran. Niner squeezed the trigger on the remote. Once again, earth fell to the ground all around Niner. When he caught up with the rest of Alpha Squad they were already running for the opening which led to the town. "No more stops," Niner told them.

 

When they got to the opening, Alpha Squad approached cautiously. Niner snapped on his sniper attatchment and peered through the scope. Within the crosshairs lay a what looked like a Republic mercenary and a jedi, stationed on a tall building. Niner smiled in his helmet. Alpha Squad wasn't alone.

[Jedi Atomic]

"Don't give your position away and only fire at the leading droid." commanded Scur.

"Yes sir. You know, usually I wouldn't let a mercenary command me but my master died telling me something about follow the next man that takes command of you under the Republic."

"Really? Wow. I'm lucky."

"Yeah." suddenly the alpha squad marches around a cliff and soon enter the city. As they walk through suddenly on the other side of the city a hail of fire comes down upon the alpha squad, coming from the building across from them.

"Locate the leader, if you can."

"On it." both men scan the droids looking for a commanding droid but can't find one. Soon an smoke arises the area from an explosion. Soon the smoke clears and thedroid squad is gone. "Well so much for helping them!"

"Yeah but the good thing is that we didn't give our position away." Scur replied.

"Maybe we can make one stop," Niner said. "Let's move out."

 

Niner and the rest of Alpha Squad started walking through the town. They grouped up and made sure to cover every degree that the enemy could attack them from. Once they got to the tall building, where the mercenary and jedi were positioned, they were attacked by droids. "IN!" Niner ordered, but the door was locked.

 

Droids started pouring out of the other buildings like ants. Niner quickly pulled out his disruptor pistol and fired a single round into the door. The shock of the bolt hitting the door blew a hole six feet in diameter through the door. Alpha Squad entered.

 

Inside, there were already droids. Niner shot another round into a group of them and scrapped about ten droids. Then he switched to his DC-17. With the combined effort of the squad's rifles and a few electrostatic charge detonators, the building was cleared. On the bottom floor at least. "Stay here while I rendevous with the snipers," Niner barked.

 

The rest of Alpha Squad had already set up the E-Web by the time Niner was to the second floor. He mowed down through random droids on his way to the top. He wanted to make sure his act didn't put the soldiers in harm's way. He had a feeling it didn't.

Faction: Neutral, Fights the republic but doesn't team with the CIS.

Weapons: Mountable-DC-17 blaster rifle with sniper scope and custom upgrades, smoke grenade, jetpack.

Icik sat there, playing music from his head chip. He started humming as he squeezed off a shot at a super battle droid from his mounted DC-17 blaster rifle. It marked what people thought of as a SBD's head, taking it down. He took a wiff of his favorite drug from tatooine and took out a battle droid heading over to see where the shot came from.

Icik got up and moved his chair to another window in the building. A good sniper never gives his position away by staying in the same spot. He targeted a figure, looked at it, targeted it again and said to himself, "What the hell is that?"

Suddenly droids flew out of buildings and the figure and three others blew into a door. He heard blasterfire then the figure came out of the top of the building. Icik set his scope on that one.

When Niner finally reached the top of the building, he threw his DC-17 on the floor to let the Republic mercenary and jedi know he was unarmed, though he most definitely wasn't. He turned off his helmet comlink, so he could talk to them. "Get down into the building!" he yelled to them.

 

He retrieved his rifle and ducked back into the safety of the building. He hoped that the troopers would follow him. After all the commotion Alpha Squad had caused, every Sepratist sniper on Mygeeto was probably scanning the building.

Viper ran into the middle of a gun fight between clones and droids that was going no where. He dodged the fire and ran after Alpha squadron. He knew they were the biggest threats. Suddenly his comm. beeped.

"Viper, Sir?"

"Yes?"

"We have received news that General Greivous is dead"

"what?"

"He was killed by a Jedi named Obi Wan..."

"Oh...I see..."

"That means you are in charge sir"

"What?"

"You are the leader of the seperatist forces"

Viper was speechless

"Ok...await my orders. I need to finish off my buisness here"

"Copy that"

Viper rolled past a clone who was shooting at a loan droid. Viper put his blaster the clones head and shot him at point blank range. He fell to the floor. Viper continued to follow Alpha squad. When he reached the roof that they gone up to he stopped. He knew almost every single sniper the CIS had was going to take a shot. Viper didn't particulary want his brains splattered everywhere but he knew he couldn't leave Alpha squad to destroy his army. He jetted up to the roof and pointed his pistols at Niner but he retreated into the building

"Damn it! Fight you coward!"

Viper followed....

Niner reached to the bottom of the building to see the rest of Alpha Squad chewing up droids that tried to come through the entrance hole. "They're coming," Niner informed his squad. "I hope."

 

Just then multiple rockets blasted through the wall. They crashed into the wall behind them. "It took them long enough," Niner joked. Then started pounding droids that came in through the newly formed entrances.

 

Suddenly, a blaster bolt his Niner squarely in the chest. It bounced off his personal shield and didn't cause any major damage. However, it was enough to knock him backwards. He caught himself on something protruding from the back wall. It was something that hadn't been there before. His weight pushed it down. It was a lever.

 

The building began to sink lower and lower into the ground. The building was some kind of elevator. Hopefully leading to the energy facility. "That would be nice," Niner thought.

[Jedi Atomic]

Scur scanned the area, as the jedi watched the alpha squad. The jedi noticed a man in the group raise his blaster at the leader but before he got a shot off the leader entered a building. "Scur."

"Yes?"

"There seems to be a rebel in the alpha squad."

"Who?"

"Just a man in a clone suit."

"Wait I think I know him." Scur thought for a moment. "Yes....he is Viper." Scur grabbed his com-link and buzzed into the alpha squad. "Alpha Squad? Come in. Niner? You there? If anyone is there, just letting you know one of the clones aren't really a clone, so beware, of your own group."(Jediofdoom, are you in the group? if not then i'll change. Tell me where you are, or something.)

Icik looked through his scope for a moment and was bewildered. The building was.... sinking? Icik realised this must be a device that lead to the entrance of the energy facility. He hesitating for a moment, but only a moment, then jumped out of the window and free fell towards the building's roof then jetted a bit to counter the fall, making him land on the roof.

He set his DC-17 to assault mode and went down into the building cautiously.
