Sorry this is a bit short notice, but some of you know about it already. The traditional Christmas Quake this year will take place on Sunday 18th December (that's 2005, future kids), and as usual, doesn't actually necessitate playing Quake.

 

The games available are:

• Quake
  
• Unreal Tournament (the first one)
  
• Half-Life Deathmatch (the first one)
  
• Worms Armageddon
  

 

So as usual, what we actually play is up to you! Reply to this thread and we'll see what the consensus is...

 

Oh, and by the way, the games will probably start around 8pm GMT - that's 1pm Eastern, midday Pacific. I think. Reply if you have a major problem with the time though, just in case everyone is mysteriously in the same boat!

UT could be tricky because everyone will moan about my non-team coloured Glottis skin, as tradition demands. It seems like forever since we played facing worlds though. Perhaps Gabez will make a special guest appearance! Stranger things have happened.

Facing Worlds is, of course, the BEST THING EVER. That's the only reason I've missed UT, really.

 

And it has been forever. I think we briefly played last year, but it didn't last long!

You know, I think I might actually join in the UT as long as we'll have a decently lengthed bonanza.
