MachineCult
It looks like it's going to be a while, i'll def. get it when it's finished though.
Coraan Talme
I agree with all those voices that yearn for improvement in the space battles. While I actually love them (though I was VERY VERY sceptical for a long time due to a multitude of weaknesses of these skirmishes) and really enjoy the flight mechanics and controls - those dodging maneuvers, in my opinion, add a really unique element to the spacefights! - I still think the experience could ... and should! ... be much better. I used to think the missing cockpits were a major problem - and I still think it's a shame that there are not ANY cockpits for ANY kind of vehicle, yet I've learned to live with this. What I REALLY think ought to be changed: More cover in the hangar bays. Right now they fill out half of the capital ship's interior ... yet are supremely boring to fight in. Bots fight abysmally bad on board the ships in any case. But I believe a little cover and eye candy, be it a few crates, maybe a packaged, kneeling At-At, cranes, small unusuable vehicles (though usable ones would be o.k. too ... ) or even large cubicles of frozen wookies (Don't ask! This is top secret cargo!) would add a lot to boarding battles. As would things like technical staff running around (npc's, possibly also helping in the defense) or generally simply a BIGGER interior. Someone mentioned corridors (gasp!) actually leading to the seperate sections and I think that would really be a good start. Boarding battles can already be quite funny, but the especially bad bot AI and the limited space for fighting (both uncomfortable and not really loooking very convincing) tend to leave the experience a bit bland and repetitive. All vital ship sections should really not be connected to a single, pitiful, room and identically equipped with automatic cannons. How about a SEPERATE door in the hangar bay that leads to the engine room? Even such a small change would accomplish a lot - at least in my opinion. Also very refreshing would be the introduction of additional classes: Why not adding officers to the ships as a variation to the marines and pilots? Even if their only use would be in boarding battles themselves (they MIGHT, of course, also command support cruisers in typical space-sim wingman fashion ...), I would strongly approve of this. If such a thing should be done ... it should be done well So they would need slightly different uniforms. Imperial officers with caps, not just helmets (a welcome possible variation to add to the standard officer look on other maps as well)! Well, I guess rebel ones, too. Or perhaps Mon Calamari for rebels? That might look very neat indeed! Think back to the movies, you can find many different pilot uniforms for the rebel scum there. That would be a very nice touch, too. And I'd definitely love to see those black-clad imperial marine soldiers with the big dark helmets. As a loyal and slightly experienced pilot of the Emperor's greatest and most glorious navy, I must confess that I am still scratching my head whenever I see stormtroopers with red shoulder pad's claiming to be marine troops. I know, marine troops always stand in the way whenever we pilots rush to a launch, but I kind of miss the good old TRADITIONAL fellows anyway. Seeing ONLY stormtroopers and us pilots makes me kind of melancholical. In the good old days, we used to have more variation! Not quite as necessary but nevertheless very welcome would be: - AI actually DOING boarding maneuvers instead of the troopships spending the battle with the study of cosmic constellations - Destruction of ship systems might have more pronounced effects, destroying life support for example might bathe the corridors in red emergency light ... or even create a null-g environment - a commander on the bridge, either as the target for assassination attempts that provide more points ... or as an optional player character directing attacks - either those of other players or that of the ship's guns or the escort cruisers

Darth_Death
what i dont like about kashyyk is that in the movie u see hundreds of droids storming the beachfront. but on the game droids attack 1 by 1 until there reinforcemint count is gone. but if they did all attack at once it would be to hard... Yes......true. That may have opposed a challenge. Though, there would be some problems having like that.
Redtech
Well, it's a bit difficult with console tech to do thousands of independant bots acting on their own at the same time.
Darth Derkie
4)Having to shot a full clip of ammo with the basic soldier is ridiculous, sometimes even 2 clips to see the life of your ennemy to 1% just to get killed by his shotgun in one hit, haha ... But the engineer is weak at long-range, you can easily shoot a engineer from a distance, but you're weak at close-combat.
