Jamps
Hi, I've had KOTOR1 on one of my computers for a while, and I run it on High without the anti-aliasing. Now I've bought a laptop with specs superior to the desktop and it runs every game on higher settings, faster than my desktop also. Even at the menu screen, it freezes so bad I'm probably not even getting 2 frames per second. I don't know if it is just because it is a laptop, or maybe something related to my Graphics chipset. My Specs are: AMD Sempron Processor +2800 (1.6 Ghz) 512 MB RAM ATI RADEON XPRESS 200M 64MB Graphics Conexant AMC Audio I tried putting everything on the lowest settings possible, and I get the same effect. I couldn't find any drivers for my graphics care either. Is there anything I can do?

Darth333
Yes, there are drivers for your card: download catalyst 5.13: https://a248.e.akamai.net/f/674/9206/0/www2.ati.com/drivers/5-13_xp-2k_dd_ccc_wdm_enu_29124.exe (or just follow the link I gave you by selecting your OS and then the Radeon family of cards) Second, contrary to what you mentioned, your graphic options are far from being at minimum settings: [Graphics Options] V-Sync=0 Anisotropy=1 Frame Buffer=1 Anti Aliasing=0 Texture Quality=2 Emitters=1 Grass=1 Soft Shadows=0 Shadows=1 Brightness=57 EnableHardwareMouse=1 FullScreen=1 AllowSoftShadows=1 Disable Anisotropy, Frame Buffer, lower texture quality, turn off grass, shadows and soft shadows. Jamps
I did everything you said, and still I'm getting the same result. It's no matter, I can still use my other computer for KOTOR. Thanks for your help.
RedHawke
AgentEightyNine, Please don't delete threads that have other users posts in them. If you find a solution later you can post it here or others might have this problem and find a solution and post it here. Thanks.
SpaceAlex
With that graphic card, i don't think you can even play KOTOR at minimum settings.
