Goldberry's First Full Planet [WIP]

Hello everyone!

 

You may have noticed that I have been asking more questions recently, and the reason is this:

 

I am making my first full planet!

 

Please note that the term 'planet' is a very loose term, and this mod will not be accessable via the galaxy map. In fact, it will be accessed from on of the control panels on Yavin Station.

I am in the middle of making:

 

-Yavin Slums

-Yavin Ruins

-Yavin Prison

-Yavin Grey Jedi Enclave

 

This, in truth, is nothing more than an information topic. But I am proud to announce that it will make use of new items, both mine and other people's, Dialog animations and sounds, maybe a temporary PC, and a whole lot more that I could babble on about for hours!

 

The Alpha version will be released without fail on Monday afternoon (GMT+1: 4pm), I say without fail because it is already all set to post, but I'd like to add some more to it. But look at it like this:

 

43 hours after this is posted, the Alpha version WILL be released.

 

(It may be slightly lacking in the content area, but hell, it'll be here.)

 

I will release the Beta version only to testers at about this time next week, and depending on the results of the Beta test, it could be days, weeks, or even months before the full version is released!

 

More details to follow, please post here if you are willing to Beta test.

-Yavin Market has been removed for reasons of my own, heh.

-WOW! I had a real scare, KOTOR Tool wouldn't even load my module for the slums, and that would have been a good four hours work down the toilet! Thank God for Norton Goback!

To install:

 

Unzip - liv_m90aa to your modules folder.

- yav47_denied, Comcheck, Seccheck, Toyavin, and Repcheck to your override folder.

 

To uninstal:

 

Remove the above files.

 

To use:

 

-Go to Yavin Station via the galaxy map.

-Go to the computer panels at the back that normally say access denied.

-All three of the skill checks require 15 or more in either Repair, Computer use, or Secuirty.

-If you pass one of these, you will have the option to go to the surface of Yavin 4.

 

THE ABOVE INFORMATION IS NOW OUT OF DATE. I FINALLY GOT MY TSL TO WORK, SO THE YAVIN PROJECT IS OUT THE WINDOW FOR THE TIME BEING!

What space are you using for this planet in the planetary.2da? I don't want my project to conflict with yours or RedHawke's.

From what GB said it is accessable from Yavin Station, so there should be no conflicts.

 

I look forward to see what you have created for us GB! :D

@shamelessposer: The planet will be accessed via the "access denied" console on Yavin station. As such, it won't take up a space in planetary.2da.

 

@foolproof: I was gonna keep the modules secret, but since you asked-

 

-Yavin Slums- Taris Upper City South

-Yavin Ruins- Rakatan Settlemanet

-Grey Jedi Enclave- Elder's Settlement

-Yavin Prison- Undecided (Probably Taris South Appartments)

 

No I am not using anything that I can't easily edit with KOTOR tool's module editor, but, if Fred Tetra returns my PM before tomorrow, these locations may change!

NO! I can't remember the new module script!

 

I need this really quickly, it's something like:

Is that right?

Edit: No Worries! I found the .txt file with all of my scripts!
