Guest rosencrantz Posted March 4, 2001 Posted March 4, 2001 drumroll please...the results are in! ok, the assignment was to pick a topic relevant to high-school age kids, and using a voice from their world (i.e. some music, a movie, sumthin from teevee, etc.) to prepare an outline for a *class discussion* on the subject as if i were teaching. so i used your guys' responses and stuff for the assignment. here is THE MARK : 17/20 (thus 85% if my math skills donot fail me) this means *we* collectively did a great job, 'mates [This message has been edited by rosencrantz (edited March 04, 2001).]
Admiral Odin Posted March 5, 2001 Posted March 5, 2001 did you actually have a discussion? ------------------ "Dulce bellum inexpertis." (Sweet is war to those who have never experinced it.) Roman Proverb
Guest rosencrantz Posted March 5, 2001 Posted March 5, 2001 not in my class, we were only supposed to do the intro for it. but i tried it out with the street kids i work with. it was really cool. and totally insightful.
Guest Zoom Rabbit Posted March 5, 2001 Posted March 5, 2001 You guys realize, of course, that this means we have a lot in common with the street kids Rosie works with...
TheRogue 3000 Posted March 5, 2001 Posted March 5, 2001 As far as we know, we're all street kids that rosie works with... What does that mean? I'll leave you to figure that out.

I'm not into sports or any other typically "guy" things, and most of the guys I've met IRL are jerks/jocks/losers/junkies (think every masculine TV stereotype). I'm apparently one of those unlucky guys who makes a much better "friend" than I do a "boyfriend." As a side effect of my best friend being a girl, I'm one of the few guys who can overhear one of "those" conversations and not get grossed-out (those of you who've hung out with girls'll know what I mean ). And Redwing, one of your alter-egos is Cheetah?!? From your age I'm assuming that it's not the same "Çheetah!" who lives on RASSM, but either way, wierd. ------------------ "Do fish-people eat fish, or would that be like humans eating monkeys?" Me too, but I say Cheetah is a minor alter ego of mine and I have never posted with her, so THAT Cheetah is not me. ------------------ At last we will reveal ourselves to the Jedi. Flying Beastie Posted March 11, 2001 Posted March 11, 2001 Pray that you never do. And yeah, Reddy, I figured you weren't Çheetah; you don't seem to have his in-your-face style. ------------------ "Do fish-people eat fish, or would that be like humans eating monkeys?" Guest Redwing Posted March 11, 2001 Posted March 11, 2001 If I were ever to post as Cheetah, "she" would have a look-at-me-and-you-die type style, but also be very insecure. I love alternate personalities ------------------ At last we will reveal ourselves to the Jedi. At last we will have revenge.
Admiral Odin Posted March 11, 2001 Posted March 11, 2001 My other personality is an ancient GOD. ------------------ "Dulce bellum inexpertis." (Sweet is war to those who have never experinced it.) Roman Proverb
