Det. Bart Lasiter
You can just put the files into your "Override" folder. They don't (and I don't think they can) be compiled to a BIFF file.

T7nowhere
tk102 released a couple tools to extract and build .bif files way back in the early days of K1 modding, which are on pcgm I think. However its best not to bother trying to compile your files back into a .bif as you would have to also edit the chiten which is generally not a good Idea to do. Any file that you edit from the .bifs can be put into the Override folder.

tk102
Eh, don't bother with BIFs and especially not with the utility T7 is referring to. I think Darkkender tried out the Bif Creator utility and found it to be buggy. It was a pitiful first attempt. I'd suggest packing your addon into an ERF-formatted file. You'll find a lot more support for that utility-wise if nothing else.
Darkkender
As Tk102 stated above. The Bif builder does not rebuild the key file properly completly fouling up your game. Unlike NWN, Star Wars Knights 1 & 2 have no support for custom bif files or hak files. In SWK 1 & 2 Overide is your friend. If you are building a area module then we pack our files in to ".mod" files for that area module only. Because we don't have a tool to build ".tpc" files we have to directly apply the tga and txi files into overide since we can't rebuild them into an ".erf" file. Hope some of this helps. Det. Bart Lasiter
Out of curiousity SiTox, why can't you put the files in your override directory?
