[K1][WIP]Make Zaalbar a Jedi

Reclaimer

Recommended Posts

Alright, I'm currently working on this mod, because I can't find one that makes him a Jedi. I'm about 20% complete on this mod. This mod will feature:

- Zaalbar as a Jedi

- Special Lightsaber FOR Zaalbar (but you can use it)

- Special Wookie Gauntlets, Implant, and Belt

- and a few more things

Please post your comments/ideas/suggestions for this please. I will appreciate any help.

Current Mod Completion Status: 20%

There is a mod like this on pcgm, Slayer of kayysk I believe its called. (ignore my bad spelling.)

All that Slay of Kayysk (sp?) seems to do is retexture Zaalbar and change his abilities, I believe. It doesn't give any new items as of such from what I can see?

Ok, well KOTOR Tool is giving some wierd error now, resulting in it shutting down after I click Quit. Continue just goes on and doesn't let me use anything.

So right now this mod is not in production as of now.

EDIT: Here's the error.

See the end of this message for details on invoking

just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************

To enable just in time (JIT) debugging, the config file for this

application or machine (machine.config) must have the

jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.

The application must also be compiled with debugging

enabled.

For example:

<configuration>

<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />

</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception

will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the machine

rather than being handled by this dialog.

I made a mod months ago that allowed you to train Zaalbar, Mission, Carth and Canderous as Jedi after resolving each of their respective side-quests but I never got around to releasing it. Multiclassing a character to Jedi is amazingly easy, all you have to do is come up with some good dialog to make it believable. You don't need a new .utc file, just a multiclass script attached to a dialog. The script can be found in the 'frequently used script functions' thread in the 'scripting' forum.

RELEASE THAT PLEASE!

I'm geeking over Mission getting Sneak Attack VII lightsaber attacks!! With her mondo skills and Zaalbar's hideous strength ... well that sounds like a party to ME!

  • 2 months later...

May you release your mod??? We all here can make it too but are there any reasons to do it again if someone has already finished it (I am lazy, it is the reason)? Release it please, actually I am interested in side quests, not in jedi classes... The error he showed us sometimes came out when you try to change defence for robes... Extract his utc again, and try, if not then extract it again :) and open with gff editor, if your utc editing is not too good, read my tutorial about gff.
