Mike Windu
So... who's ready for them? Anyone taking them here besides myself? I take my first test tomorrow (AP Language and Composition) and I'm slightly worried, but not that much. I have AP U.S. History on Friday, though, and I don't feel prepared for that one... What are you taking (if any)? For those who don't know by the way... AP = advanced placement, equivalent to college course. Wow, my hands are shaking in anticipation of tomorrow. Det. Bart Lasiter
I took AP Calculus as a Junior in high school. I don't know what the big deal is. It's a class, only slightly harder. And in my case, it was math + funny symbols and Greek letters.
manoman81
The thing that got me on the AP English test were the actual names for stuff like different types of poems and types of words (other than the normal verbs, nouns, etc). Good luck none the less. When you go to college, you might save yourself some $$$ on classes you don't have to take.
ET Warrior
I took AP English and AP Calc my senior year. I got a 4 on both of them, getting me 10 credits towards my graduation. That has really helped me out by letting me keep my credit load a little lighter through college. Now I only need 13 credits for each of my next two semesters and I will graduate with flying colors.
