This is why I wished TSL when you were establishing your PC (picking out the class, attributes, skills, etc), had you pick other options before your game started to have outcomes established.

 

Like ask questions about the outcome of your last game. Ask questions like...

 

Revan a man or a woman?

1. Man

2. Woman

 

Revan redeemed or fall to the dark side?

1. Redeemed

2. Fallen

 

(Only if you picked Redeemed) Was Bastila killed or was she redeemed?

1. Redeemed

2. Killed

 

(Only if you picked Redeemed) Was Juhani killed in the Dantooine Grove?

1. Yes

2. No

 

(Only if you picked Fallen) Was Juhani killed on top of the Temple, or in the Dantooine Grove?

1. Grove

2. Temple

 

That would have been better than making assumptions.

 

Anyway, little things like that would have been nice when starting a new game. That would be very useful for KOTOR III. That way we can choose before the game started if Bastila died or not in K1. It would make it so you can put Bastila in your game or not based on questions answered.

Well, that would mean that the developer would have a lot of different plot scenarios in. They could handle that though.

 

The thing is that many players will not want to sit and take a quiz before they played the game. Look, I know i dont speak for everybody.But to some people, those questions will feel like a bunch of nonimportant questions that wont have an effect on the game, so they may just skip through them without caring. I think Obsidian realized that when they were developing KOTOR 2. So instead, they weaved the questions into the game, so the players would think about their answer.

 

It is a good idea though.

im sold on the fact that there will be a 3rd KOTOR, if not i'd brekdown & cry, LOL! as far as Bastilla, i can only hope to see her return, buthteres jus so many possibilities as to where & how to start the game & whos gonna be in it! i jus kno there will be a 3rd & for some reason i believe she will play a part in it somehow!

It was her that also made Kotor so brilliant. So it is very important to have her again. She is the originality of Kotor.

Unless of course you mean to show the blindness & general arrogance of the jedi in that era, then yeah I guess she was important. Personaly I find her to be one of the worst characters in this series, hell I'll take T3 out of the ship over her.

While I agree with you, I really don't think OE/LA care about that plot point from Knights 1. If they had, they would have given you the opportunity to set that option in tSL, among others.

Actually in the un-cut TSL, your could kill most of your party members. The TSLRP aka Team Gizka are restoring that content.

 

Anyway, I still like my idea. If you are LS at a certain point in the game, your get Bastilla. If you are DS, you get Visas (or someone else).

she can die in kotor 1 but she can live to. doesnt really matter if u "can" kill her. it didnt matter in kotor 2 because she was still alive but i agree redhawke.

It depends i would love to have bastilla & carth Oh & jolle back becasue i loved mixing weith them 3 it was my fav peeps there so good plz birng them back & it depends wot u did on kotor1 cos bastilla cna die carth can be trapped on tht planet & jolle can die & juhnai & mission & not evryone bought hk cos i had know use for him my first time round & i just slaurghted the sandey people
