Yeah, im getting 512k access soon on my modem, at last i'll get real cable speeds instead of my poor 64k connection atm. This is all because ntl wont let us have two modems so we are upgrading and setting up a network!!!

LET THE GOOD TIMES ROLL!!!

I have never seen a download go faster than about 220-250K, and this is from experience in many office networks and my own cable modem.

good luck getting 512K. you may have that capability, but the majority of servers and high speed connections won't go that fast.

*Looking down on myself*

I have a 56k modem and never go higher than 4 kb/s with an average of 2 kb/s...

Internet connection in Africa must be the worst on the planet.

I get around 200k a sec off alot of things...now I must go take a screenshot to beat kinnson biggrin.gif

I have got 250-300 at home.

Once when I was having DL trouble at home I tried to DL the file at work to see if it was the site or my PC and I DLed a 100mg Counter strike file in under 6 minutes. Needless to say it was my connection at home. smile.gif Work kicks ass.

With that kind of speed you can download the entire/full/whole internet with no problem.

Now everything will depend on how much free memory you have in your brain rolleyes.gif

The human brain is estimated to contain 1 petabyte of space.
