Niner_777
Nice lightsaber. It's nice and neat, unlike my drawings.
Davinq
Yes, it's quite simplistic, but in a good way.
igyman
I like, I like. I'd be interested to see a concept art of a Jedi, or a Sith Lord.
RC-1162
unfortunately, i'm not very good at drawing facial features . but i might give a shot at Vader or masked Revan soon, but for now, it's just basic stuff like lightsabers and blasters. i've made a couple more sabers and am working on my first blaster. i'll put them up soon. thank you all
Sabretooth
God, even RC's on the bandwagon! How the hell is everyone so bloody good in drawing? Why am I such a suckage? Excellent work, mate! Keep up the good work... (and wait till I get a scanner).
RC-1162
heh, well, actually, i use scales, guidelines and inspirations from common everyday items. i got the inspiration for Revan's saber from my permanent marker's cap thanks, Sabre. i'll put up more soon
Niner_777
I'll be looking forward to it.
RC-1162
hey all, i just made my second lightsaber, but my scanner is on the fritz, so i guess it'll take some time. i'll get it up soon
Niner_777
No problem. I can relate to you.
Yaggles
Hey looks AWESOME! If you could make that into 3D that'd be totally cool! However, I'm guessing that this would be Revan's lightsaber BEFORE he changed to the darkside with Malak or AFTER he got memory-wiped on the Endar Spire. lol because most of the time, Sith don't carry around Blue lightsabers (although it would be good cover for those who are spys and don't want to show their true colors, no pun intended! lol) Well anyways, again, nice job and I hope to see more! EDIT: Looking closer at your drawing, i see you used marker for coloring the handle, but what did you use for the blade? Is that crayon or some type of pastel? Either way it looks awesome! Niner_777
It might be colored pencil. To me, it looks like crayon.
Yaggles
Yeah colored-pencil usually doesn't have the splotchy look like that... more liney. But I like the crayon idea better!
RC-1162
nah, i used the pencil shading techniques i learnt in art class and made the blade with a blue coloured pencil. and this is the lightsaber Revan used before he fell to the dark side. Yaggles
alright cool! I wish I was an artist. But even when I trace something with tracing paper it looks terrible. lol I suck at drawing! But you're really good. I hope you get your scanner to work and upload your next image!
RC-1162
alright, i got the scanner working at last. here ya go: Duron Qel Droma's Jedi Lightsaber it may seem a bit plain, but hey, that's 4000 years old the blue thing at the bottom os a light bulb. he was an intelligent person i presume, and if he needed some light in crowded areas, the blue bulb would be less dangerous than the blade, dontcha think?
