MasterRoss08 Posted November 14, 2006 Share Posted November 14, 2006 Alright some info on my latest level editing. Im finally learning some new things which is awesome. Still some problems im having with a few things but im sure ill figure them out soon. I would like to get some nice levels done soon. To bad it takes time to do all the knicknack stuff you want to put in them. I dont want them to look stinky but I dont want them to be perfected either so Ill just have to wait and see what I come up with. Its great that there is alot of options I can fiddle with. A friend of mine lost her 18 year old son to a brain tumor (they removed the tumor with surgery but he died from complications). The visitation for the family was Thursday and the funeral Friday. Tonight I was at a service with some friends from school. Anyway, I'm glad you're hosting game still! I can fire up the server if you wish, but I'm really tired. I actually have a short vacation part of the week (for thanksgiving) so I can probably host a few more days if people are around (and not to full of turkey to play!). You still cant edit your character because it will crash and the added characters are still the same look. They are stated here. Weequay, Pirate Raider 2, Abron Mar, Dark Rahn, Mara Jade, Dark Mara Luke Skywalker,Darth Vader,Vaemon,Pirate Raider 1,Kaerobani, Scout Trooper,Tie Pilot, At AT Pilot, Rebel Commander, Admiral Santiago,Rugar,Rebel Soldier,Rebel Officer, (note here this is just a list on mots of characters that didnt get updated) FOrce Powers did get an upgrade as well. Kurgan Posted November 21, 2006 Author Share Posted November 21, 2006 I love Threepio the Bounty Hunter. They just recently finished Dark Rahn and Veamon, but they aren't available for download yet. Hopefully they will be soon for JK Enhanced! Btw, Dark Rahn, Veamons, Rugar and Santiago are all basic JK skins. So JKE will replace them. The MotS skins won't be unless they decide to release updated versions of the MotS stuff too. Nice shots. I swear I didn't just use Carb the whole time. Though now that I think of it, I don't need to defend that tactic, since all of the classes tend to "rely" on their primary weapon (Jedi - lightsaber secondary swing, Soldier - rail detonator, Scout - scoped sniper). Even though I won, Ross, I've noticed a huge improvement in your skills lately. The Soldier class seems really to have grown on you (my soldier was always pretty poor). He's so slow, but you've managed to master upping his speed with strafe running/jumpy/bunny hopping and the deadly use of the Rail detonator. Believe it or not I had to work for each and every kill. Of course the Bounty and Soldier seem much more evenly matched than the Jedi or Scout. Of course in a typical game I've played Jedi or Scout, so I haven't had as much time to get used to the other two lately. The temptation with the BH is just to abuse carb, but frankly, that tactic doesn't work on you guys most of the time anyway, so I can't get lazy. A little strafing and proper movement and you can avoid being frozen, and I run out of ammo. That and after one kill you can use the same tactic on me! Cool. But please, everyone get the taunt pack: http://www.jediknight.net/hiss/server/arnoldtaunts.zip It's super funny and only 1.8 megs. Unzip into Resource\sound just like it says in the readme txt. If you don't install it, you won't be able to hear the taunts! Just in case anyone hasn't seen it yet. I'm thinking of putting together the next installment soon.
