The weapons of cource look great but the characters like my soldier I was using actually looked worse. I think the mod only affects Jedi Characters or just models that were used in jk. I kinda forgot, since I just got done with midterms this morning, took a loooong (much needed) nap, and then watched ROTJ. Kinda lost track of the time. Well, the server is up NOW! (9:20pm Central... better late than never!) Come on in! PS: I have Mon & Tuesday off. Not sure what I'll be doing, but I can have the server up for some extra hours if people want! Had some fun matches. we had some Deathmatch, Capture the Flag, and alittle Capture the fool with the ysalmari(whatever that name of that slug was). So it was fun And a Thank You to all that showed up. We cant have the fun that we do without you people. So thanks! And hope to see you all tommorrow. Feels more like a single player map, or something for a big clan convention (with 10 or more people). Still, thanks for showing me that. We should get that Vallo person (the "guest") to get MotS. Too bad people got "bored" with CTF so quickly. I agree Duel isn't the most conducive map for teamplay (too easy to just rush the flag with speed without communicating with your team, so I guess play it with no or low force). Playing soldier for me is a real challenge! I switched back to Jedi 'cause I just was getting a bit frustrated. I'm pretty tired, think I'll call it a night. Great games, thanks everyone! Kurgan Posted October 15, 2006 Author Share Posted October 15, 2006 Great pics! Yeah, JKE has some glitches with it still (the "removable hairpiece" during idle animation for Kyle for example). The "missing hand glitch" also occurs when you use a model that hasn't been replaced yet. But it's still cool (the latest version replaces the most stuff, I kind of don't like some of their replacement choices, but it is definately "modern" looking). I suggest you all download this map pack for Mots, as I plan to use it tonight: http://www.jediknight.net/ctf/addons4.html Last item on the page... "Terminator's KFY Levels" Please download and install,. in addition to the "Towers" map that was mentioned above. I'll have them both installed and we can play them both if people come! I also have a few chores to do, BUT, I will make it as soon as I can. I explored that Dual Towers map and it looks like it might be fun at least for awhile with a few people. I will probably keep it up until at least 10:15pm Central tonight. However since I don't necessarily have to get up early on Monday, we could go later if people are still around and not too tired. I really do want to play some KFY on those new maps though, that should be fun (if we have at least three people). Otherwise at least someone can help me explore 'em for possible future use (I realize testing new maps at the end of the weekend can be a little tricky for people). But hey, you were all somehow able to download Caesar's Palace, and that was 5.1 megs, so surely downloading a few smaller maps can't be too painful, eh? It's just too chaotic and small otherwise (even with only four people!). Anyone disagree? The other maps are quite fun though, but if people get sick of carb spam, we can always play with Jedi only. Kurgan Posted October 21, 2006 Author Share Posted October 21, 2006 Sorry for the downtime this Friday (I got home from class and was really tired, so I went right to bed and completely forgot to put the server up). But it's up now (I launched it about 1pm Central before heading to work). It'll be up all day. I have to do a take-home midterm (online exam) that'll take about an hour, sometime before Monday morning, so the server will need to be down for that however otherwise I can keep it up the usual times. Feel free to join. When I get home about 5:45pm tonight I'll check and see who's on. JK.net may still be down, but at least the forums are up, and so are we! Come join!!!
