Music From Petroglyph

At somepoint in an Spacebattle you will hear a very cool Startingmusic.

I want to know how this music is named and/or if i could buy/download it??

I'd love to help, but that description was just a little too vague. Most of, if not all, the music in the game can be found on the soundtrack of the various Star Wars movies, so if you check those out you might find what you're looking for.

There were a few bits of music that I didn't recognize from the movies...actually, I thought Petroglyph should have just stuck with the movie soundtracks!

Go to Frank Klepacki's website. He's the guy who works at Petroglyph and wrote the EaW-specific music.

At the bottom is a flash-based jukebox. Click Star Wars and see if the song you mean is among them. You can't download the songs, but you can listen to them all you want

 

Oh, and on a sidenote, all his C&C music is on there well. Ahh, that takes me back. Fight, Win, Prevail!

 

PS: If you really want the songs, check out modding forums to see how to get the MP3 from the Music.meg file.

There is a way, to just rip the music right off the game, if you download the .meg extractor, you can extract every single song that is on the game, from the music.meg file, found in GameData, although you must download the .meg extractor first.
