Prime
I'm a NWN guy, but I've only played the first one. My biggest complaint (apart from it being dated now) is that there isn't much interaction with your party members. I really missed that after playing KOTOR. Balderdash
Thanks for the info, stoffe. I'll definitely be giving Morrowind a miss, I think. Is it just me or does this guy look like half of the male characters in Oblivion? Edit... not Putin, the other guy. As if it needed to be said. In fact the interactions between the tiefling and the dwarf are priceless.
stoffe
Thanks for the info, stoffe. I'll definitely be giving Morrowind a miss, I think. Is it just me or does this guy look like half of the male characters in Oblivion? He looks very much like several Bosmer and Altmer NPCs, yes. Morrowind was fun in its own way, the environments were a lot more varied than those in Oblivion, and the open feel where villages weren't in their own zones was nice. But if you're used to a traditional RPG it is even more different than Oblivion is. The dialog was more like browsing an encyclopedia than talking to people, for example. Phantom Joker
I'm a NWN guy, but I've only played the first one. My biggest complaint (apart from it being dated now) is that there isn't much interaction with your party members. I really missed that after playing KOTOR. NWN2 did a good bit better in that regard. However, as this thread is on NWN / TES, I'll add my "expert" opinion. I didn't play TES. However, what got me hooked on NWN was not the official campaigns (though they were amusing), but some of the community work. Some of the mods available by the community were as good as or better than the official stuff. Worth much more than the price of admission, I daresay.
