Nintendo [s]Wii[/s] Revolution

@Lynk, Maybe I wasn't clear. My problem is that you have to adjust your vertical angle to aim at the sensor bar (unnatural) instead of what you're trying to hit onscreen (natural). Left or right, over or under are not the issue.

And unless it's possible to create a custom definition of the virtual environment then that fancy little gun contraption is a waste of development time as you'll not be aiming anywhere near what the target you're seeing.

What you want...

*=target

Screen|...........................

Screen|*......................... ----- (Your aim)

Screen|...........................

What you get...

Screen|........................... \

Screen|*........................... \

Screen|.............................. \ (Your aim)

El Comprende?

dozey.gif Yes. I know how the Wiimote works redjohn and I've already said a few posts back that it's impossible to get that kind of accuracy with current technology but you seemed to suggest that I didn't get what you meant so I went for a different suggestions. Jeebus.

And yeah, the gun attachment is pretty useless, which is probably why Nintendo will never release it ever.

maybe your not used to the wii mote so the controls and aiming seem so difficult and bad. As for games, there are 30 coming out by Xmas(yes i said it you gay atheists), the commercial holiday for the almighty Christian race.

They have Zelda, Red Steel, Metriod, Mortal Kombat, Call of duty 3, Splinter Cell double agent, the sims for those of us with a god complex, and a crap load of other games.

@ Loderian: Okay, firstly, who are you talking to exactly? Secondly, cool it with the whole "yes i said it you gay atheists" etc crap.

And third, Metroid Prime 3 Corruption won't come out till 2007, same with The Wii exclusive Sims... which btw is taking a very interesting look thanks to the whole Mii feature on Wii... I'm sure the fanboys will have a field day with this since it only highlights the kiddiness factor even more.
