Kotor references in pop culture

Not so much references but are there any examples where something on TV, film (besides Star Wars) or in everyday life reminds you of Kotor. Or maybe you see something that you believe was an influence to the developers of both games. Il give you a few examples:

  • Watching Jurassic Park the other day. I could'nt help notice that the tour voice when everyone gets into the green cars sounds alot like HK-47.

  • In the original Star Trek series, the episode 'The City on the Edge of Forever' the guardian sounds incredibly like G0-T0.

  • One i believe was possibly an influence on the original Kotor team was also in the original Star Trek series. 'The Trouble with Tribbles' where small rapidly breeding cute creatures infest the enterprise. 'The Trouble with Gizka' quest in kotor where small rapidly breeding cute creatures infest the Ebon Hawk.

I know some are small and insignificant but have you seen anything else that may have influenced Kotor or bears similarities to certain parts of it in real life?

The only one I can think of is that the Seer Thinblood at the Santa Monica beach in Vampire the Masquerade:Bloodlines sounds exactly like Juhani. :)

Thats because its the same actress. Courtenay Taylor is her name. Heres her IMDB page- http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1057696/. Even just in Vampire, look at all the voices she did.

Pretty much all of the KotOR cast has done a lot of voice over work. Just look at their different pages - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0356070/

Those other Bloodlines characters she did voices for didn't sound anything alike though. But the beach thinblood sounded exactly like Juhani; the same accent and very similar way of speaking. :)

(Some voice actors can have quite some variation to their voice. Never could tell that "Nalia" and "Viconia" had the same voice actor in Baldur's Gate II just by listening to them, for example. :))
