The Battle of LF Sith{RP}

HK-42

As Ben, CSI, and Aurora walked through the gate and entered the Dune Sea. What he saw... stunned him. As far as the eye could see, there was a sandy desert. The wind blowing sand around from time to time. Ben stopped for a few minutes trying to determine which direction to go.

Eventually, he decided that continueing onward but slightly to the left was the right way to go. As they got closer, the presence he felt seemed to get clear and clear, but not clear enough for him to determin who it was... yet.

As soon as CSI had announced his concern, Ben stopped and started to reach out with the force again to figure out the direction they needed to go. After several minutes, he had determined that he thought the presence was about 80 degrees to his left. "Aurora, CSI, i believe where we are headding is in this direction" Ben said as he was pointing to where he thought they should go. "What do you think, i feel a very strong presence in that direction."

The three of them walked for a while in the same direction that Ben had pointed and eventually after a little while, Ben noticed in the far away distance that there might be what looks like a cave. When he saw this, he stopped suddenly and reached out with the force. "He is there..." is all that he was able to say before he went into deep thought about the near future.

"No..." CSI narrowed his eyes a little and continued, "I didn't fall. These are reflections of our internal darkness. Didn't you feel, Master Starfire? There is a Dark Side copy of me in the cave...Darth Nihilus, and Ben's, Darth Randus?"

Then he turned to Ben: "What do you mean, feel so 'right'?"

Aurora's expression was solemn, almost grave. "I have seen friends fall before, and I have seen their deeds. The dark side is not more powerful, it just makes power easier to get. But if you do not work hard to attain that power, you do not learn the self-discipline necessary to responsibly use that power, to decide when, and if, to use it. There is nothing a Sith can do that a Jedi could not, if they chose. But the Jedi have worked to earn there power, and have learned the consequences of their actions, and so are able to restrain themselves from destructive behavior. Do you want to destroy countless planets? to kill millions of innocent people, innocent children? I have never known a Sith who did not do that. They are so filled with anger and rage that they cannot restrain themselves, and ultimately, they are unhappy. For the dark side is unsatisfying. It gives a Sith power easily, but he is not content. He must kill and maim and destroy more, in an attempt to attain more power, and so he is sucked deeper and deeper into the deadly trap of the dark side. For," she lowered her voice, "ultimately, as CSI could tell you, part of the secret of the dark side is hunger. Ravenous, the dark side is, and as you consume populations and worlds, it consumes you, until finally, you have been destroyed. I would not see that happen to you, Ben."

CSI added in: "Ben, we trust you can do it. That's why I recommend you to cleanse yourself before go on any other mission. But no fear. Just remember: Power, is not your tool. It's your friend. You should use it for your friends, not for yourself." Then CSI faced to Darth Nihilus: "Darth Nihilus, what are you doing here?"

Darth Nihilus said nothing, only different pitches of sounds.

"What did you say, Sith? Louder, I think I have some problem with my hearing." CSI joked. [CSI understands what he was saying, of course, he just wants to irritate the Sith Lord.]

Darth Nihilus's sounds was faster, clearly he was irritated.

"Ah?" CSI touched his ear to indicate that he still couldn't understand it, "I beg your pardon?"

Now Darth Nihilus gave in his anger. He ignited his red lightsaber.

"Wow! Sithy lightsaber?" CSI jumped back a few inches, "Wait, can we deal this in non-violent way?"

Now clearly, Darth Nihilus attempted to supress his anger, and emitted another pitch of sound.

"Oh, you want to teach me to feed on the Force? You mean this?" CSI slowly opened his eyes which the eyeballs are glowing brightly.

[sorry, ive been really busy lately, and this is the first time i have had to post]

Hearing his friends explain what was at stake, he let go of the emotions he was feeling, but still was not entirely sure what to do. He saw the sencere face on Aurora and decided to hear her out. He then watched Darth Nihilus and CSI, when CSI started to do something he had never seen someone do before. He began to wonder what in the force he was doing...

A glowing ball appeared on CSI's left hand, then it began to crack, within it, everybody can see the blinding light glowing inside it. Suddenly, the ball broke and immense light had shined the cave. "Force Light!" CSI shouted. Darth Nihilus retreated to dodge the blinding light, and he emitted different pitches of voices...Suddenly, a small strand of light shined on it, and began "corrupting" his darkness. With a high pitched shout, he was "consumed" by the light.

From the light, CSI can hear Darth Nihilus's voice in Basic: "Thank you, CSI. Thank you for saving me from Darkside. I've been in the Darkside too long. Farewell, my friend."

"You, too. May the Force be With you, Darth Nihilus." CSI made a polite bow.

When the light dimished, Darth Nihilus is gone. Only his mask fall on the ground.

After watching what CSI did to his illusion, Ben was stunned at what he was able to do. "Ugh, CSI... what in the name of the force did you just do?"

Ben could feel his dark self watching him, glaring at him, and calling to him to return to where he 'belonged'. Part of him was tempted to embrace what he once was, but another part of him wanted to remain with his friends. His mind was once again in a state of chaos.

Remembering what his friends just told him, he ignored his darker self, for the moment. He could feel his other 'identity' growing angrier and angrier from this with each passing moment.

Dispite what he was feeling, he just continued to look at both CSI and Aurora, like a sense of meaning had finally come to him, and smiled at them.
