Ben smiled and winked at both Aurora's and CSI's once he finally understood their suggestions and he knew now what he needed to do. "I think i get your points, i think i will see how my dark self likes to be mocked at."

Ben then turned around while pulling his hood to cover his face like he used to do when he was a Sith, and walked up to within about five meters from 'Darth Randus'.

Ben just stared at Randus and began saying the Jedi Code to him through the force.

'Randus' replied by unleashing his anger upon Ben. "You seem to forget the POWER of the dark side, Jedi! You-"

"POWER? What power? Ooh... you are referring to the 'power' of killing others? The power of killing innocent people who stand up for their own beliefs? I think that you really should re-evaluate what you are!" Ben yelled back.

"HOW DARE YOU SPIT THOSE JEDI LIES TO ME! AND HOW DARE YOU INTERRUPT ME WHILE IM SPEAKING! Oh well, it does not matter. You will know me again... very, very soon. Jedi." 'Randus' said back to Ben, and then disapeared.

Ben turned around and looked at both CSI and Aurora with a puzzled look. He wondered what 'Randus' meant by 'knowing him again.'

Aurora smiled. "I'm proud of you both. It is not easy to stand up to the darkness within yourself, I know." Then she frowned. "I don't know what this dark shade has in mind, but I do know that you'll find out right when you don't need to be distracted, so stay alert." She glanced ahead. "Now, let's see what makes this cave so special," she said. "It must be incredibly strong in the dark side of the Force; what could have caused that, I wonder?"

"I agree with Aurora, standing here is not getting us anywhere... Lets go explore this cave and see what we find." Ben said to Aurora and CSI.

Ben did not know what the future would bring, but he did know that whatever had drawn him to this cave would be revealed soon enough. He too sensed the mood everyone was in. "Well, the sooner we find out whats inside, the sooner we can put this behind us and play some more pazzak." He said to help make them feel better.

With that being said, he started to walk towards the cave. It looked very, very dark inside and he was starting to get the feeling that he was being watched by someone... or something.

Suddenly, CSI's intercom chirped. "Yes, Fleet commander?"

The intercom passed his stern voice: "General, I got a distant distress signal."

"Copy, Fleet Commander, where is it come from?" CSI asked.

"Looks like Ruusan."

"OK. I got it. Thank you. CSI out."

Then the lane went dead. CSI thought for a while, then said to Ben and Aurora: "My fleet received a distress signal from Ruusan. So...We got new missions. But however I recommend let's deal with the cave first, what do you think, Ben?"

As the three entered the cave, N'Dul stood up from leaning against the Rakatan statue, and came out just far enough that they could see him.

He grinned, sadistic glee playing all over his face.

"Surprise!"

He then pushed a switch, activating the hidden holo-cameras, and capturing the faces of the three Jedi.

"You should see the looks on your faces! And now, I think it is time we got to business."

He stepped a little further forward, and became more serious.

"You know, the Jedi Order is old. Very, very old. And old things sometimes need replacing. And myself, I think that perhaps it is time the Jedi Order was to die. However. I am not unreasonable. I will give you a chance to join me. You will not find me unreasonable, or unmerciful."

CSI frowned and looked at N'Dul. His face shifted from astonishment to mocking smile. "N'Dul, N'Dul, N'Dul...You're 'great' enough, and 'noble' enough to offer us a chance, and yoru chance is very, very tempting, but..." CSI made a pause to emphasize his "Tough decision".

"No. Thank you." Finally he made a polite bow to N'Dul, "Ever considered...Join the Jedi?"

[sorry its been soo long since ive posted, a lot of work for school hehe... anyway...]

Ben finally had solved the mystery of who he felt was inside the cave, his sith master. He thought about his past and his friends now and what he had accomplished. However, once he was in the presence of N'Dul he felt all of his old tendencies were trying to return to him and that his thoughts were mostly following his instincts on how to save his new friends.

Not seeing any other option to be able to help his friends, he slowly walked up to N'Dul until he was right in front of him. Then knelt before him. While kneeling, he said "I have returned to you... my master."

N'Dul smiled, turned to Randus.

"Arise, my friend. Your deception has brought us far. You are a great Sith indeed. I bestow upon you the title of Sith Lord."

He turned to the other two.

"Thank you for your kind offer, but here, now, as you can see, I hold all the cards, as I believe the expression goes. I will repeat my offer once again. It seems a waste to kill such talented Force Sensitives."

CSI's eyes remained closed, but his face showed that he frowned upon Ben's betrayal. Slowly, he looked towards the twin sun, "Nice scenerio, isn't it? But unfortunately, I can't sit here and enjoy this." Then he turned to the duo, "Still, I hate to fight. Can't we sit down and discuss a peaceful solution? And as a Jedi, we serve under the Jedi Order. We're willing to sacrifice ourselves if we have to protect it's Honor and tradition."

Ben's betrayal filled Aurora with anger. If there was anything she couldn't stand, it was betrayal. But she took a deep breath, and let it go. She smiled, as she felt a shift in the Force. "Not all the cards, N'Dul."

A young man stood in the entrance to the cave. "Looks like you're in trouble, Aurora, as usual," he said.

"Well, you know me, Arion. I don't go looking for trouble, it usually finds me first."

Arion glanced at N'Dul, as if noticing him for the first time. "Am I..... interrupting anything?"

"Arion?" CSI turned to the young man, and "studied" him closely, "Isn't he Aurora's brother, famed Jedi Weapon Master?"

"And this time we're in big trouble," CSI said to Arion, "And no, you didn't interrupt anything, but you missed a touching reunion of a Sith Lord and a Sith Apprentice."

Then he used Force Whisper to Aurora: ::There is no emotion...::

"That's him," Aurora rolled her eyes, though she couldn't keep them from twinkling with amusement. ::And thank you, CSI. I've got it under control, and I'm always stronger when Arion's here.::

Arion bowed. "Indeed. And it's a pleasure to meet you, as well, CSI, though most of what I've heard about you has been in history texts." He winked. "Now, on a more serious note," he turned to N'Dul, "my sister and I felt something rather unexpected. We sense the goodness in you, N'Dul. Please, join the Light. You would be a great help to the Jedi Order."

"With most of the Jedi dead, and many of the records destroyed, your assistance would be invaluable," Aurora added. "With your help, the galaxy, torn apart by this Sith war, could begin to heal."

Darth Randus got up when his master told him to and listened to the rest of what he said. He felt a sense of accomplishment when he heard that his master was pleased and gave him the title of Sith Lord.

"Thank you, master" Randus replied with excitement. "What will we do-- I sense someone is comming that I had not intended to, master... another Jedi I believe." He moved to stand beside, but a little bit behind N'Dul to show respect, and observed what was happening between the jedi and his master.

Through the force he sensed his Jedi Master's anger and said ::Careful Aurora, watch your anger... dont want to let it get... out of hand. Might cause you to want to join us...::

N'Dul first turned to his apprentice.

"My apprentice, have you heard of the technique known as the Force Meld? No?" His eyes blazed, and the light seemed to spread to his apprentice's. "KNOW."

After a split second, the telepathic link was over, and he turned to the others.

"The Light? My dear Ms. Starfire, what you sense is calm. Not all Sith Lords bask in foolish rage, but the Light? It has never touched the dark centres of my heart, nor will it ever."

He turned to CSI.

"We can talk all day, all year, all millennium if you like. But the end result will be the same, regardless."

Finally, he turned to Arion.

"A weapon-master? I was unaware any were left in the galaxy. Still, it is of no matter. I do not mean to boast, but compared to the great duelists of my time, you are but a child with a toy. I was fortunate enough to be a sparring companion of Tulak himself, for a while, and even once duelled with the great Ragnos himself."

He paused, reflecting on the past.

"I lost, of course, but it was a close-run battle. And so very, very long ago..."

He returned to the present.

"So I present you with a choice: join me, or face the consequences of not doing so."

Aurora and Arion looked at each other. Aurora shook her head fractionally, and they turned to N'Dul.

"With all due respect, N'Dul, we disagree," Aurora told him.

"We can understand why you wouldn't want to admit it, but there is good in you," Arion added.

"As for your offer, though, we reject it utterly," Aurora said, and rested a hand on her lightsaber.

"We don't want to have to fight you, but we cannot allow you to destroy the Jedi Order," Arion drew his saber staff, but did not activate it.

While the conversation continued, a screech erupted from the mouth of the cave, letting everyone know that the Ihskhar had arrived. There were five of them and were brown, gold, blue, black, and white. The gold one was leading them, and let out another screech, its spikes standing straight up. It raised one of its hands and sent out a powerful gust of wind at them, causing sand to be picked up and create a mini-sandstorm as well.
