CSI smiled: "But that doesn't mean we can't anger them AFTER the meeting--Think about it--Darth Randus stated that it's unwise BEFORE or DURING the meeting." Then his face sanked, "I still think that would be booby trap. And they won't buy the Force Doupplanger. And I fear that Darth Randus was corrupted by Dark Side too deeply. But we have to be extra careful then."

Aurora nodded. "The Doppelganger worked once, but it won't work again."

"As for boobytraps," Arion shrugged. "As long as we stay alert, we should be ok." A warning light flashed as they approached the planet. "Let's bring her in for a landing, and take a bit of a scout around, what do you say?" He guided the Pheonix down, and Aurora set the security systems.

"Welcome to Avirandel," Aurora remarked, conversationally. "Noted for its rocks, and apparent lack of greenery. Enjoy your stay, and be sure to fill out one of the surveys at the welcome station on your way out."

A small, crystalline pyramid started to glow, an a hologram of N'Dul shimmered into life.

"I apologise for not meeting you in person, but it was necessary for me not to meet you so close to Republic space. You will find myself and my apprentice waiting on Krayiss II. Do not attempt any sort of trickery, and bring no more than three. I would ask you to come unarmed, but that isn't your style, and it would, naturally, be a trap."

"Krayiss II?" CSI narrowed his eyes, "that's a Sith Planet. Great--the neutrality was disputed." Then he stood up and untied his Katana: "Here, Master Starfires, accept this as my last gift. Remember, just exert the Force into it, and it will...eh, Final Release, just like me." Then he put on his hood and said calmly: "Go to Ruusan after 15 min. My fleet would wait you there. And from now on, you're the Fleet Commander." Then he used the Flow Walking and disappeared.

On the surface of Krayiss II, CSI used the Force to lock the control of Jedi Phoenix and set the destination to Ruusan. Then he whispered:

::Farewell, my friend. May the Force be with you.:: Then he made a bow.

CSI said nothing, and focused on the hyperdrive. ::This should speed you up a little,:: Then he used the Force to set the Destination: Krayiss II. Ready for Hyperdrive. Then a warpgate opened, and teleported Jedi Phoenix to the Sith Planet.

::Wait, something is wrong!:: CSI shouted through the Force, ::An anoymous gravity grabbed your ship in Warmhole! Exit the Warpgate now or it'oll collapse!::

Suddenly CSI lost the contact to Jedi Phoenix. ::Hello? Hello? Aurora, Arion, you there?:: Suddenly, a bad feeling raised to his brain. There? No way it can be...

"Fleet Commander, can you detect Jedi Phoenix?" CSI shouted into the comlink.

"No, CSI. No traces yet."

"Search the area around...Balcora. I think they were dragged by the giant gavity."

"Yes, CSI. On the way."

----After a While.----

"CSI, our probe indicates that they are indeed at Balcora. What do you want me to do?" Fleet Commander replied.

"OK, dispatch one of our dreadnoughts to activate the gate." CSI ordered.

"Wait, you can't be serious..." Fleet Commander warned.

"Yes, I'm dead serious. Do it."

"Yes, CSI!"

"And, dispatch a Battlecruiser to dock Jedi phoenix. I don't think he would pass the gate."

"Yes, CSI!"

Shutting off the comlink, CSI thought, That would be trouble, Indeed.

"We've lost communications," Aurora said, abruptly. She scanned the area with the Pheonix's sensors, but most were not responding.

"Er, do we have any idea where we are?" Arion asked.

"No, our sensors have been scrambled by some.... gravity field, or something. I can't get any readings."

"That's not good--we have to get to Krayiss," Arion said grimly.

"I know. I'll try to get some minor repairs going, and see if we can get patched up enough to get out of range." She stood, and headed to the engine room.

* * *

Aurora sank down into the copilot's seat. "Not much I can do with that gravity field in the way. I guess we'll have to wait for outside aid."

"Alright, then. I suppose we have our old hyperspace diversion to fall back on...."

* * *

Aurora laid down a +2 card. "I win..... again," she remarked, dryly.

"Deal." Arion growled. "I'll beat you this time."

"Eh, that's what you said the past 42 times," Aurora reminded him, with a chuckle.

"DEAL." He shoved the cards at her.

She sighed. Here we go again.....

Suddenly, a warp gate opened and slowly revealed a HUGE ship. It's almost as big as an Imperial Star Destroyer.

The Commanding Officer sent to Aurora an small greeting:

"Greetings, Starfires. I'm the Commanding Officer under CSI's direct command, and I'm here to haul you out of here. Another ship is coming to power up the Gate, too."

Then he waited patiently for their reply.

Aurora and Arion looked up from their Pazaak when the comm beeped. "Looks like we've got local communications, but not long-distance," Arion remarked.

Aurora keyed the comm. "Greetings, Commander. I knew CSI wouldn't abandon us out here."

"Whenever you're ready, Commander, feel free to haul us out of here. I'm getting tired of Aurora beating me, anyway." Arion rolled his eyes, and Aurora chuckled.

"I see, I see." The Commander smiled, "OK, and onboard, I'd like to play a round of Pazaak with you, the Pazaak Winner. CSI taught me to play Pazaak...like a champion. Besides, we have to wait until the gate--the Balcora Gate--to be fully powered."

Suddenly, another warp gate opened and even HUGER ship came out of hyperspace.

"Wait...Receiving incoming transmission: It's from CSI! Do you want me to patch him through?" The commander asked them again.

Meanwhile, the huger ship, the savior, Dreadnought, was slowly moving to the Balcora Gate.

"Yeah, that's nice to hear from you, too. I never expected that I would see you again. And Arion, you got beat by Aurora, right? To hell with it--who cares about winning or losing?" CSI's usual sacrastic tone flew in.

Arion laughed. "Ahh, you know me, CSI. We just play for the fun of it. Now, if we were playing for credits....."

"Credits? Now there's an idea...." Aurora mused. She absently blocked a blow from Arion. "Thank you for sending someone to pick us up. There are many ways to become one with the Force, but boredom is not one I'd choose. Besides, our task was not yet done."

"No problem, you got nothing to kill except time. So why don't you play with Commander? His Pazaak skill is even better than me. Trust me on this." CSI said amusingly. "And, the gate won't power up until 1 hour later. So why don't you suit yourself?"

----1 Hour passed----

On the Commander and Aurora's 100th Pazaak Card game, the intercom beeped and the Dreadnought reported: "The Balcora gate is fully started up!"

"Good," The commander smiled, stood up and looked at the score board: Him: 49, Aurora: 50.

"Looks like I lost," He commented lastly.

Aurora chuckled. "It was quite close. You almost had me there at the end. CSI is an excellent teacher of the finer points of the game. I'll have to get him to give Arion some tips."

"I heard that!" Arion called from a distance. He entered the room, and remarked, "Well, the gate is up. Let's get out of here. We don't want to miss the party, and we're late as it is!"
