Aurora Starfire
Arion flipped over one of the swarms, so that they were both in front of him, managing to shear away some of the shards from the pack as he did so. This is getting out of hand, he thought, and with a half-twist, the hilt of his saber separated into two lightsabers. He threw one of them into the swarm, spinning the blade through the shards, destroying more of them.
CSI
"Good, good!" CSI admired, and the shards spreaded, and extended like a fish net, and attempted to attack Arion in all aspect. "Watch out, Arion...This is getting serious. I'm pushing you to the edge, and you'll find this beneficial...later. Forgive me, Aurora."
Aurora Starfire
Arion's eyes narrowed. Suddenly he spun both his blades around him, in a barrier, as he drove through the "net" of shards. Step one when you're surrounded, get unsurrounded, he thought to himself. The rapidly spinning blades effectively protected him from the shards, as well as taking out more of them. CSI
CSI smiled widely. "Impressive, most impressive." Then he strentched out his arms and begin waving them, as commanding the movement of the shards. "The speed will be 2 times faster, so be wary--don't get yourself killed. And counter when you can." Aurora Starfire
Great, that's all I needed, Arion muttered to himself. Well, let's try this. He cast Stasis Field, which disabled some of the shards, and left one of his sabers spinning in the spot where he had been, while he rolled out of the way in anticipation of the attack. He barely made it, and though the spinning blade took out some of the shards, it didn't get all of them, so in moments he was on his feet, and recalled the saber to his hand in preparation for the next wave. That stasis didn't work as good as I could have hoped.... he thought grimly.
CSI
CSI said nothing, and let the shards of blades shoot up toward the sky, and let them free fall. The shards landed slowly, like snowflakes, but under the deflection and reflection, the shards appeared like pink. "Congratulations, you passed. Now I officially think you can take my Final Release. Good job!" Then the shards disappeared, CSI's Katana went back to normal.
Aurora Starfire
Arion deactivated his sabers, and returned them to their normal saber staff position. Then suddenly he grinned. "Thank you, CSI. I haven't had such a good sparring practice in a long time."
CSI
Suddenly, CSI fell down and fainted. In front of Arion.
Aurora Starfire
Arion knelt down beside CSI and checked his vitals. He seemed to be all right, simply exhausted. Arion used the Force to gently pick him up and bring him to the Pheonix's quarters. Once he had CSI safely in one of the beds, he went to his own bed and meditated, for he was also very tired from the difficult battle.
Darth InSidious
So...The Jedi came. And he would finally see just how well his student had learnt. N'Dul continued working in the laboratory. Darth Randus
[sorry for the late post, lots of school work and this is really the first chance i have had lately...] Randus sensed his former master enter the room he was in, and knew that this was would prove to his master how much he had learned since he began his training. He did not turn around to face her, acting as though she was not there. "I sense your presence, my former master. And yes... I did have a important message to tell you." He said, then suddenly sealing the doors to the room with the force and finally turning around to face her. "The Jedi's time is over, it is now time for the Sith to rule once again. You cannot think of stopping me and my master."
Aurora Starfire
Aurora listened to Randus's revelation, sadly, but she didn't move. "Why do you hate the Jedi so much? What have we ever done to you? What have I done?"
CSI
After a while, CSI woke up, and cleaned his eyes. When he realized where he was, his instinct was to reach for his Katana. When he totally woked up, he sighed in relief and got into the cockpit. "Yawn..." He yawned and Force Whispered to Arion: "I'll go to the Sith Library, and set up a party preparation. You coming?" Aurora Starfire
"You bet. I love setting up for a party," Arion agreed. He didn't like just sitting around while his sister was in grave danger, and this would give him a chance to be doing something, and he could be close by in case she needed his help. CSI
"Okay." CSI took out a pack of Proximate Charges and stepped out of the Jedi Phoenix. "Come on, I'm gonna set up proximate charges." Out side the Jedi Phoenix, CSI walked a few inches from a small hill, and throw a big proximate charges. Then h walked a few feet, and put a explosive chain on the ground. "Was it red, green, red, or was it red, red, green?" CSI asked Arion when he was setting up the Proximate Charges.
Aurora Starfire
Arion frowned. "And he's supposed to be our demolitions expert?" he muttered under his breath. "Uh... I'm hoping that's a rhetorical question, right?"
CSI
"Huh." CSI smiled and worked on his proximate mines for a while. Finally, he stood up and throw the detonator to Arion: "Use the Force Jump, and shout 'For the Republic!' then press this RED Button. See what happens." Then he winked. Aurora Starfire
Arion grinned, and caught the detonator. "Sounds fun." He took a deep breath, and drew on the Force to jump high into the air. "For the Republic!" he shouted, and pressed the button.
CSI
BOOM! The deafening roar rocked the ground. The explosives had raised dusts from the ground. "That must woke up the dead," CSI murmured in the air. After the dust was settled, CSI smiled upon his best art: The holes formed the first symbol of Galactic Republic. "That's why I told you to shout 'For the Republic!', Arion." CSI winked again.
Aurora Starfire
"A nice touch," Arion remarked. He peered into the hole formed in the library roof. "Shall we?" He gestured down towards it.
CSI
CSI jumped into the pit and landed on the ground. Then he clapped his hands. The clapping sound echoed through the vast space. Suddenly, the light turned on, and the halogen lights shone on the CSI and Arion. CSI shrugged: "Must be sound controlled switch."
Aurora Starfire
"Must be..." Arion carefully stepped over a pile of rubble. "Well, we're in. Where to now?"
CSI
"This is a Sith Library, though. Be careful. For me, I think I'll read some Astronomy books, especially the ones that talking about aurora borealis. So...I'll read the books, and for you, eh, practicing your lightsaber skills in the Sith Archives is not a bad idea."
Aurora Starfire
"Fine with me," Arion agreed. He ignited his saber staff and began to practice, alternating from one form to another as time went on.
Darth Randus
[sorry again.... last two months of school can be really busy... anyway...] "The question is not why I hate the Jedi, but why I hate their vaunted Jedi Code, their useless restrictions about your feelings. My master has shown me how to use these feelings to my advantage and it has made me far stronger than you could have thought possible. Anything else to say before we begin this duel?" Randus said getting enjoying this 'reunion' with his former master.
