N'Dul looked up from the consoles, his curiosity piqued.

::You surrender...completely? Unconditionally? Then I shall release your companions.::

He shut off the gas, and took the sphere out of hyperspace.

He sat down, legs crossed, and, opening himself to the Force, began to open a wormhole. Subspace ripped, and he dragged Leia and Arion through to an auxiliary shuttle in the hangar bay, then closed the tear again, and pushed the shuttle into space.

He got, up, and jumped the sphere to hyperspace.

::They are released.::

N'Dul unlocked and entered the room.

"No. You are the key to the galaxy. You, both of you, are vital to the future of the galaxy. The Jedi would destroy everything with you, and without you, I could not triumph. You are the key to victory, and to the future. Without you, all will be lost. With you, the future is ensured. The galaxy cannot survive the dangers that are to come, fragmented as it is. It must be strong to face the future that is to come. I have seen what lies ahead. It is that which first sparked Xendor down the path to darkness, which caused Naga Sadow to sabotage us and end his feud with Ludo Kressh. It is that which now drives me."

Ben looked up at N'Dul and after he let his statement sink in for a moment, asked "And just *how* are we the key to the galaxy's future, and just what *exactly* have you seen that lies ahead that would make us *want* to join you?" After asking, he muttered "...Again" under his breath and was directed more towards himself than to anyone else.

"I...cannot tell. Something...blinds my senses beyond the galaxy. But, like at the edge of hearing, something is approaching...something, like the whisper of the wind in the night, something...moves silently, slowly towards us. And it is malevolent. As to why you should join me? I alone can stop it."

Ben eyed his 'master' cautiously and said "Well... it seems we are at your mercy, so what next? Just bare with me for a moment, BUT JUST HOW IN THE FORCE DO YOU KNOW SOMETHING IS APPROACHING WHEN YOU ADMITTED YOU CAN BARELY FEEL IT, YOU JUST CONTRADICTED YOURSELF!" he yelled back, getting angry at their situation.

Ben felt Aurora's hand on his sholder trying to calm him. ::I'm not 'angry'... just very, very.... annoyed.:: He shot N'Dul a look that could have made a normal person running away thinking he were about to greatly harm them, and cooly replied "My temper is my own, and if you are the 'high and mighty dark lord of the sith' that you claim to me... then... PROOVE IT TO ME SOMEHOW." After he had blurted that out he braced himself for any sort of punishment the dark lord felt like giving him.

N'Dul cocked an eyebrow at Randus.

"All right. I'll alter course and show you."

-------------------------

Five hours later, they arrived above Moxel Graxla VI. N'Dul activated a holo-screen, showing the barren wasteland below and shattered spaceships orbiting.

"Barely a month ago, this was a thriving spaceport. Now look at it. More like the remains of Malachor V than a hub of trade activity. NOW do you believe me?"

Ben looked at the holo-screen and silently swore to make whoever caused this much suffering pay. "Ju- just how do you propose to stop them, master." His eyes widened when he realized what he just said and couldn't believe that he had let that slip out, and quickly turned to Aurora... looking for guidence and forgiveness for his slip.

Aurora tore her eyes away from the screen to look at Ben. ::I know it must be difficult for you. He was your master, when you were a Sith, and you're used to calling him that. It hasn't been very long. But I have faith in you, to choose the right path.::

She looked back at the holo-screen. "You did this?" she asked N'Dul, a hard edge in her voice.

"Of course not!", N'Dul snapped. "I owned half of the trade interests on this planet! Why would I destroy that kind of economic power? With my interests here I could have conquered the Republic without you even knowing it, and without striking a blow. But this-" he cast his arm towards the barren image "has robbed me of such a chance. Beside which I was on Krayiss II long after you departed, and there before you arrived."

Ryloth. CSI's Hut's Ruin. A shadowy figure appeared, and CSI stood opposite to that figure.

"Well, well, well, CSI is here. I'm honored." The shadowy figure said sacrastically.

"You have persued me around the the whole galaxy, just to collect on my bounty? I don't think so, Vergil...Or should I call you, Darth Nihilus...II? How are you feeling, living in my legacy?" CSI smiled.

The shadowy figure was clearly annoyed: "You're right, I'm here to deal with you once for all." Then she took of the hood, and revealed herself. It was Vergil, only her face was corrupted by Dark Side.

CSI's eyes focused on her katana on her hip: "Mmm...I see...Interesting."

Vergil drew her katana: "What do you feel when you see your katana...was stolen from me?"

CSI scoffed: "Huh. You think you can defeat me...by stealing my katana? You're mistaken." Then he slowly drew his another katana, from his back, which has a totally different design. "The one you have is my current katana. But...the one I have...is my very original katana."

Then he put on his ready pose.

"Final Release...Chidori Current!" Vergil shouted and an ice giant formed behind her. Then she threw a punch at CSI. CSI dodged the punch, but that punch pulverized the only remains of CSI's hut.

"Impressive, very impressive final release." CSI commented, "But as a current gatemaster, I also have my own final release..."

"What?! Wait, you don't have a Final Release...about 1 year ago! You can't master it in simply 1 year!" Vergil's eyes widened.

"That's right. I didn't master it in 1 year. I simply mastered it in...1 week." CSI smiled, and raise his katana, and shouted: "Final Release...Knight Cross!"

Arion sat in the pilot's seat of the shuttle, fuming. "'Don't worry!' she says! 'I have a plan!' she says! Sure, wonderful. That solved everything. We're in a MUCH better situation now, don't you think?" He scowled. Still two more hours till we make it back to Alderaan. I don't know what I'll tell Aksul and Sandra......

"My dear Aurora. I may be powerful, but I am far from omnipotent. My ships are five-thousand years out of date, and even with the storehouses of the Sith, a new fleet costs money and arouses interest I would rather avoid. I would prefer to take the Republic without a long, bloody struggle. My ships did attempt to defend the planet, but, as I said, they are very old. And they were outnumbered 12:1. I can show you the recording from the bridge of the lead ship, if you like. As to who did destroy the planet, someone powerful. Very powerful. And, from the stray tendrils, I would posit a power that uses solely organic weaponry."

Ben moved toward Aurora, protectively and said harshly "How dare you call her "My dear"! There is no way in this entire galaxy that you would be worthy to, shes mine, NOT yours, and I will NOT let you take her from me! Your just some..... thing thats always telling lies, twisting people to your will! I bet you are twisting both of right now as a matter fo fact, but for some reason, that dosn't really bother me," his voice turn cold, "and stay away from my future wife." He took his lightsaber off of his belt and held the hilt in his hand, ready to activate it at any time. "Stop playing games! What do you really want?! If I had to send all of my family back and be a prisoner here with my future wife, you were solely mistaken! So stop your useless ranting and just do whatever you brought us here for. And while I'm at it! What in the name of the Force did you mean by we were the key to the galaxy?" He said, growing more agaitated by the minute, finding it hard to control his emotions around his former master. He continued, this time mocking his former master "That if we turn, serve you, become your apprentices that the galaxy will be safe and sound!" He then let out a frustrated screm and began muttering curses just loud enough for N'Dul to hear them.

Aurora pulled on Ben's arm, urgently. ::Ben, stop! Listen to what you're saying! He's trying to make you angry. Don't let him! I love you. Be at peace.:: She tried to project calmness to him, tried to soothe him, but was herself badly shaken by his outburst. You're scaring me.

Ben felt his arm suddenly being pulled, to get his attention. He heard Aurora's urgent words through the force and realized that he had not been aware of what he was saying and that he had for the first time in a long time, scared her, truely scared her. He began to feel her calmness projecting into him and took it in. His eyes widened at what he had just done and wispered through his bond to Aurora, ::Wha- what just happened?::

Ben turned around to look at Aurora, not caring that his back was turned to the Sith Lord, this was more important. Gently he reached out to stroke her cheek and embraced her. ::I- I don't know what to say:: he laid his head on her sholder, trying to make her feel reassured, and also to calm himself.
