The Battle of LF Sith{RP}

N'Dul raised his eyebrows.

"Merely a turn of phrase. There is something of an age gap between the two of us, and frankly, Ms. Starfire isn't my type. You are correct that I do manipulate, twist and lie, and that I am quite prepared to do so now. But right now I need you to trust me, and to know that this was not by my hand. I do not use the kind of weapons that inflicted this damage. I'm not even sure who does, other than that they are extra-galactic in origin. Since you do not believe me, here is the footage from the flee that I had waiting behind the planet's moon."

He saw their confusion.

"Nothing stifles trade like a large fleet. I needed to protect this system, but be discreet."

He flicked on another monitor, this time showing a holo-recording of what appeared to be the bridge of an ancient starship.

*******

The last screams died away, and the explosion of light returned to darkness.

"One hundred and sixty-two ships destroyed. Four planetary defence satellites gifted to the planet by the Republic, six Corellian built battlecruisers annihilated, four-million lives lost, and almost no witnesses. There was barely time for an emergency request for assistance to the Republic, and the sending of a message that the outpost was under attack to this vessel before communications were jammed. If you are wondering how I picked up this recording, when a ship is destroyed, the 'black box' continues transmitting on a unique frequency until deactivated by me. It is almost indestructable, short of being hurled into a sun, and has an independant power source that could last for millennia. That's partly why I came here.

And I have already told you what I meant. The survival of this galaxy rests upon you. Whether the Jedi Order weakens the Republic with its flawed teachings much longer, or whether I can bring the strengths of the Old Empire to it in time is entirely in your hands.

And do not think that this is merely idle speculation. I have seen a vision of what will happen if I do not act. A vision of worlds destroyed, and a galaxy dead to all but minds closed to the Force. Let me show you..."

Aurora frowned. "If this planet was destroyed by an extragalactic power, then where are they? Surely they wouldn't have taken this planet and then abandoned it.

And what would become of the Order? We have striven to protect the galaxy for millennia, and would continue to do so. I... I know you disagree with many of our teachings, but I have my own reservations about yours."

"Where they are is one reason for my current worry. You are quite correct that no-one takes a planet and then abandons it. Unless as a distraction. I fear we that some other, greater target may be struck soon.

As to your own reservations, naturally you have them. If you did not, you would not have fought against me. The Jedi Order cannot continue upon its current philosophy, however, if the Republic is to survive with it. Either the Order continues, or the Republic does...I do not doubt the Jedi Order's intentions, only their ability to carry them out, and the efficacy of the Council."

Ben looked at N'Dul and cooly said, looking him right in the eye "What do you suggest we do? Cut off another one of my hands? Or would you perfer a arm this time?" He paused and regained a even composture, "So you are saying that to save the Republic and the Order, we need to become Sith?"

Aurora frowned. "Is it really necessary to fall in order to stop this threat? Couldn't we put aside our differences in creed and work together, at least for long enough to stop this threat from destroying the galaxy? I admit that it would not be easy, but it could, perhaps, be done."

Aurora's face was grave. "Then I'm sorry. I have to reject your offer. I have responsibilites to the Jedi Order, and to the galaxy, and if I joined the Sith, I would be betraying my very identity. I would have helped you against the threat, whatever it is, had you at least *tried* to work with me, but I shall have to fight against it alone. If you are wise, you will concentrate your efforts in one area, rather than trying to divide your forces." She called her lightsaber to her hand from the floor where it lay. "If you choose to fight against us, as well, then.... so be it."

::Mmm?:: CSI murmured, sensing something wrong.

"What happened? CSI?" Vergil asked, in the Jedi Temple, and deflecting blaster bolts.

"I got a bad feeling, but I can't say what happened. I got to go back." CSI said back to Vergil, his dual lightsaber sizzling.

"If you're going back, so am I." Vergil said.

"Okay, if you insist." Then CSI smiled, "Showtime." Then he dropped his lightsaber into a portal: "Final Release: Knight Cross."

----

After a while, CSI and Vergil left the temple, with astonished Jedi and lots of dead corpses of invaders.

"Here, we go. Then, we move on to do another mission." CSI smiled when he opened up a warp gate.

"And you planning to go without us?" CSI and Vergil entered the cockpit of Leia's ship, and smiled: "Greetings, Leia, and Kyp. You might want to disguise as Republic Clone Troopers, or Clone Commando, or better--ARC Troopers." And we need to meet up with Jedi Phoenix first, as all my stuff is in my quarter."

Vergil asked, "We need a leader. Who would have the honor?"

"Well, that has certain aspect of danger--because the leader has to disguise as a Sith Lord." CSI answered, "Well, that can't be me--I'm emitting Light Side Aura all over me...Besides, I'd like to be a Republic Trooper...Pistol-whipping enemies."

Welcome aboard, CSI and Virgil. I'm afraid the only way for you to get your stuff is for you to teleport back and forth, because we are no where near them and it would take a lot of time to go back," Leia said. "Who did you have in mind for leader?" Kyp asked.

"Beats me. I'll be right back. Vergil, keep the warpgate open, I'll throw all we need in." CSI smiled while Vergil opened up the warp gate. Then CSI entered the gate.

After a while, stuff piled up in front of the warp gate. Vergil frowned as the stuff was flying out. "Well, CSI, do you think that's a little too much?"

"Do you want a DC-17 Blaster or a DC-15 Blaster?" CSI's voice flew through the intercom.

"DC-17m Interchangeable Weapon System, please." Vergil replied.

"Roger. Be ready. 4 DC-17 on the way."

"What outfit you want?" CSI finally asked.

Vergil looked at Leia and Kyp: "What do you think?"

"Naw, let's just assemble here." CSI carried four ARC Trooper outfits, "We need Arion here. Because I think Vergil is best suited as the Sith Lord, Kyp, Leia, Arion, and I would be ARC troopers." CSI said, while he was assembling weapons, "And Kyp, what's your best skill? Melee, or computer slicing?" "I would be the Heavy Ordance, dealing with demolitions and heavy weaponaries, Arion would be a Sniper, Vergil would be the fake Sith Lord, Darth Octavionius." When he finished assembling, he patted the weapon: "Z-6 Rotary Blaster Cannon. My baby."

"Let's suit up, we got to infiltrate, take some hostage, and exfiltrate out of there." Vergil ordered.

Now CSI's putting on his blue ARC trooper suit.

"And we move out in 2200 Hours, Coruscanti Time." CSI checked his chrono, 2030 Hours. Then he checked his stock: "Flash bombs, EMP, Thermal Detonators, Sonic Detonators, Z-6 Rotary Blaster Cannon, DC-17 Weapon Interchange System with Shotgun attachment, proximate mines," Then he raised his head, "Enough to take out a small army."

"Good, Republic ARC Squad is complete. We can codename it Bravo Squad. Kyp, you'll be the slicing expert. And Leia, you would be the Melee expert." Vergil smiled as CSI stood there, with his helmet under his arm.

"It's nice to see you in that ARC trooper suit again, CSI."

"Fierfek, man, I always wanted that!" CSI waved his dual blasters, "Good old times."

Deep within the vessel Enterprise, nurses and aids were frantically searching for the vanished post operative patient and his Jedi fiancée. "They're just gone!" a recovery room nurse reported to Arina and the Chief of Staff.

Code Red blasted across the com. A crash team arrived on deck in seconds. An ace medic scanned the Captain's blood sample and received instantaneous confirmation of the type and nature of the poison. He drew up and plunged a hypo preloaded with the Sith anti-venom into J.T. Starfire's subclavian vein, aspirated to check position, and injected the lifesaving medication. J.T shuddered and took a gasping breath. It was the will of the force that he survive and live to save another life.

Arion brought the shuttle out of hyperspace, and linked up with the Enterprise. Unhappily, he walked down the ramp, and began to look for Ben's parents.

"Okay, Kyp, you're named Fixer. Leia, you're named Boss. I would named Scorch. For Arion...he would prefer Sev." CSI tilted his head, and put on his helmet, "Now we wait for Arion. Let's check our time here, my chrono says 2050 Hours."

Vergil answered: "Yeah, 2050 Hours."
