Commander Obi-Wan
Yeah, making money is fun. *Holds up $136.26 paycheck from last week* Yes, it is. Next paycheck it get about $275 (working extra hours) according to my math skills. Though, that's for two weeks. *The ability to listen to any music I want while playing a game.(Ingame playlist's, yay!) I just use a radio, ghettoblaster, or my computer. *Awesome game line-up. The line-up for the games this year aren't half-bad. There isn't any really big titles that are available for the 360. But, there are some decent, quality games that are to be released this year. *Turning off the xbox with my controller... priceless... You can do that with the Wii too. TiE23
something is the music section called "portable device"... usb port... Flash drive?... flash drive with music on it in the usb port playing off of portable device. Um... You plug your MP3 player into the USB port and play from there. I'm pretty sure that all new iPods, Creatives, and stuff can be used. Hell, when my computer was dead I used the 360 to charge the new Zens my family got. Flash drives, too. And you can stream videos from your computer. Play music from your computer. View photos from your computer... I'm waiting for XNA to kick-in. I think I'll stick with PC. ..<_< >_> what Smart man Not that I dislike consoles, I just don't have the money to dish out for one currently. But if I did, I'd probably start with the Wii then move to the 360. The only persuading factor about the PS3 in my opinion in future Final Fantasy games. Datheus
The problem with PC gaming is that right now it'd cost me about 1000 dollars to upgrade my rig. I wouldn't bother buying any thing except an 8800, which runs 500 - 600, another gig of RAM is going to cost 100, and Vista is 300 - 400 dollars. In about two to three years, I'd be faced with getting 15 fps on the latest games again. This computer is only 2 years old! (2 years exactly next week, in fact.) If I went out and bought the good 360 pack for 400 dollars, I'd be able to afford a 600 dollar HDTV. Certainly, I wouldn't be able to get a 50 inch plasma, but I'm a college student. I don't have anywhere to put that anyway. I'd be able to use the HDTV to replace my crappy CRT monitor. I'd finally be rid of CRTs. I'd only have one monitor in my entire apartment. I'd also have the option of picking up a high def DVD player at some point, HD-DVD or otherwise. And to a certain extent, I'd be future proofing my TV until I can afford that nice, shiny 60 inch plasma. In the end, I'd get so many more benefits from just upgrading my console gear, but I'd spend more than I would have on my PC! Then, in 4 years, I'd only have to pay another 400 for a new console instead of another 800 dollars for new computer hardware. This is why I'm toning down my PC gaming and switching to console.
