Andros cocked his eye at Komad. Most would actually be abhorred that he had spoken to a master with such disrespect but he was actually amused that Komad was brave enough to be that indignant. He replied, "I remember more than you think Young Komad. I just choose not to on some things. I speak from experience that needless rushing gets you nowhere whereas patience reaps the reward." If that wasn't enough, Andros then added, "Besides we have a few hours before us. It will be awhile."

Alkéa listened to Andros speak and was surprised that he didn't lashe out at Komad. Listening, she thought she detected a faint mockery in his voice but it was overshadowed by humor. She spoke aloud while keeping her eyes on the traffic, "Perhaps Master Starlighter does know. He had three children and he knew when Ben Skywalker was born."

"Understandable but I sense that things are going well. I am surprised that her padawan is so level headed. It has been a while since I met such level headedness," Andros replied with a smile.

Greea gripped Quinlan's shoulder as he guided her to the healers. Komad would return soon and he was bringing an old friend. She sighed as she followed her padawan.

((You might want to pm the one who plays Quinlan))

(I did, but he hasn't been on in quite a while. If he doesn't respond by Friday, I'll give control of his characters to you.)

"Well, he has a good teacher. Keep in mind, my wife's midi-chlorian count is second only to that of Anakin Skywalker." Komad replied.

Jack, have you dealt with the crew yet? We need confirmation so we can take the bridge and finish this. Hethra sent to his nephew.

"To bad she isn't Avalonian," Andros muttered in a joke to his children. It was the first in a long time.

Tulre responded, "If she were, then she would bear this out like a Haida woman."

Andros smiled at his offspring and said, "My sister and brothers will be arriving soon and Andromeda is on her way from Avalon. They can help us as well."

"Your family has alaways known when to answer the call though some are more stubborn than others," Malek added. He knew that the Starlighter family would answer the call to aid however Andros was the reluctant one. He was more like his mother in that respect since she hated to go to war. As for the boy's father, he was a Jedi from Coruscant, of course war was rather an avoidance if possible. The younger siblings had less inhibitions about it but Malek attributed it to the fact that they had been raised by their own people. Andros wasn't. Perhaps it was for the best.

That was interrupted when Andros asked Komad, "Young Komad, if I may perhaps be there when the little one arrives?"

Quinlan was anxious about his master but he keep his head level. He ignored the gripping pain in his shoulder as he guided her to the healer's wing of the temple. He came across Reyvan who was wandering the halls and asked for help, "Jedi Reyvan, can you help me?"

Not saying a word, Reyvan placed his shoulder under Greea's other arm and helped her into the lift. Once in the lift she let out with a touch of pain, "She likes you. She is just unsure as how to go about it."

Reyvan colored at what Greea was saying. He did have feelings for Alkéa and he was never sure at how she felt about him. She always hid it. He said nothing as the turbolift carried them to the floor.

"Of course, though given the circumstances, it's not like I have a choice. As my father says, even though he is the one who destroyed HK-47, it was your wisdom that brought the Republic out of the Great Droid War victorious, and although I was born two years after they ended, I believe him." Komad replied.

"Village stories I would say," Andros replied softly, "Wars make not one great."

Alkea made it back to the temple in good time. The twins went with Malek to the meditation wing with the comment that they would wait there. Andros led the way with full strides up to the medical wing even though he hadn't set foot in the temple for over twenty years. He asked, "Young Komad, tell me: What has happened in the last few years. The shadows have always been swirling but only until recently they have started amassing. I suspect it has something to do with your capture and torture."

"Very well. You could say it began four years ago, when the Sith first took me hostage and tried to turn me to the Dark Side. Needless to say, they failed, I soon escaped, and actually met Greea. That same year, my sister first went on her three year self-exile. Two years later, my former master, Kalla Vel, sacrificed herself to allow Greea and I to liberate Malastare. A year after that, I came face to face with Dar Bodonawieedo, Dark Lord of the Sith, and my brother-in-law. I failed to redeem him, but he was captured a few weeks later. Six months after that, I was asked to lead a contingent of troops to infiltrate and sabotage a Sith Listening Post on Dantooine. Before I left, my wife tried to tell me she was pregnant, but I told her it would have to wait until I got back. Unfortunately, the mission failed, and I was captured and tortured for six months. After my escape, I found out about my wife's pregnancy, and I failed to save the Chief of State's life, which leads me to today." Komad replied.

"I think you mean that Malek wanted to make you stronger to face the torture you would later face," Andros thoughtfully tried to explain Malek's actions, "He always was the unconventional one." Andros then looked upward suddenly as the turbolift continued its ascent. He continued to stare at the ceiling for a awhile until he spoke while gazing upward, "Stubborness, tenacity, good qualities. Yes, good intentions and hidden strengths."

"It's possible, though I don't know of anyone who see that far into the future with such certainty. Mortis is also the only Sith whom Tyrannus did not have any real contact with. It would have been impossible for him to know about her vendetta against me." Komad replied.

"I've got a plan to deal with the crew. We fake the self destruct sequence. Naturally, the crew will follow standard procedure and make for the escape pods. You've will have to clear out the bridge first, though." Blade said on the commlink. "We're in the security control room now, so don't worry about them calling for reinforcements; and signal will just come back to us."

"Malek had and still does have his contacts within the Sith ranks." Andros gazed at Komad, surprised that he did not catch on to the fact that he was speaking of the child being born with his ramblings. He continued, "Much like my mother did. She infiltrated and in the end, when she saw my father die, she made it possible for me to pick up the pieces and help the Rebellion."

The twins and Malek managed to find the meditation room. They sat on different seats. Malek wasn't going to meditate but rather watch the twins. He had heard much of their abilities and especially when they and their parents confused the healers during the killik affairs. It would be an interesting thing to watch.

"Let's get to work then." Alkonium said to Hethra, and began cutting a hole into the bridge. As soon as they got up into the Bridge, they had already been spotted. "Hello there." Alkonium said to the bridge crew and the Sith Apprentice on board.

Greea was ready to throw something at the healers as the pain came in waves but she was willing to be patient about it. If there were such a thing. Her apprentice Quinlan went to see about Komad and Reyvan took a seat next to her and waited with her. When the contraction passed, she began a conversation with Reyvan, "Have you spoken to her yet?"

"Every time I try, she pulls away," Reyvan replied knowing full well who she was talking about, "I know what happened the first time she gave her heart. I am willing to wait for her."

"That is why she like you and I suspect she does love you," Greea replied knowingly.

"Somehow I can't help but feel that maybe she doesn't," Reyvan replied, "Not yet at least."

"She knows her own feelings. She just has to trust herself," and Greea gritted her teeth as another contraction came.

Reyvan held her hand, ignoring what she was going to do to it. He made up his mind to see Alkéa when she came in. His thoughts were interrupted when Greea said, "Ah so he has returned."

Andros saw that Komad wasn't really listening. He knew that feeling all too well when the twins were born and when their sister was born. He continued on a rambling history, using his soft voice to calm Komad down. He continued, "My mother was a Jedi, a master during the last days of the Old Republic with my father. During the Clone Wars, she was called the Light of Courage. She understood war and the sacrifices involved. The old masters always said she had one foot in the Republic and one foot in Avalon."

Darth Caos turned around once he heard Alkonium and Hethra walk onto the bridge however the crew took no notice whatever, they merely continoued there work without pause. Caos however smiled at the site of the Jedi, "Jedi Masters Alkonium Komad and Hethra Iazoki. What do I owe this unexpected," Caos paused whilst he thought of the best word to use to finish his sentance "Visit? You're attempting to destroy our wondefall new spacestation are you? Because I cannot allow that I'm afraid."

"Where is Mortis? We were expecting her to be here." Alkonium said to Darth Caos. Then both Jedi Masters activated. "Don't try anything. We've already cut off the communications to the bridge, and we have taken the Security control room." Hethra then said. "Surrender, and your life will be spared."

"Mortis is busy with new investors to our cause," Caos replied activating his own lightsaber. "Mortis is allready well aware of your pressence here and what you plan to do. And I'm not here to stop, I'm just here to kill you cause it'll be fun. The Death Star has allready served it's peropus and any damage it does now is an added bonus. That's why it's being redirected to Coruscant." Caos mocked as he stepped back to allow the Jedi to view the Death Star enter hyperspace with a small fleet of Sith Star Destroyers. "You jedi have no idea what you've gotten yourselfs into. A plot is begining to unfold, a plot has been organised since the first Galactic Empires destruction and let me tell you, it's going to shake the root's of the entire galaxy."

"Even if what you said was true, you wouldn't have lived to see it happen." Alkonium replied. "Deception is deception, regardless of who the deceiver is." He then took a swing at Caos with his lightsaber, knowing he would attempt to block it.

"It must have been an honour to have known her. The only other Avalonian Princess I've heard about turned out to be a traitor to the Republic." Komad replied.

Andros was surprised at how far one's view could spread into an untruth. He knew why Almalexia did what she did. It wasn't for the power but similar to what his mother did. She did it for those she loved and she never lost herself. He couldn't help but wonder if his mother's spirit had been within Almalexia. He knew that he would have to have a talk with Hethra when he returned. It was time to learn the truth. Saying nothing, he replied instead, "I never knew my mother. Only what my father told me of her after he died and from what I could find in the archives."

The door to the lift opened revealing a gentle atmosphere that helped in the healing process. He then said, "Ah we have arrived," and led the way through the corridors. For one past his prime, he was still spry. Like when Hethra first met him, he looked like he was forty. He took strong strides to get to where Greea was holding a conversation with Reyvan. He looked at Greea, recalling his time spent with Jayden at the academy on Yavin IV. He smiled at her and said to no one in particular, "The Force has a strange way of grabbing one's attention."

Relieved that Komad was there, Greea allowed him to hold her hand but she addressed Andros, "The Force was was always calling you."

"True and I chose to ignore it until such a time when life begins anew," Andros replied in the manner of Avalonians. "Still though it calls to some and they fight along the way. Perhaps it would be wise to push them along and have patience." The last comment was intended for Reyvan who didn't understand but made ready to leave. As he passed by the great Jedi Master, Andros whispered that Alkéa was in the meditation room.

Greea didn't miss a thing as she watched Andros. She had read about him especially his time spent with Jayden Korr. She heard of what happened to his wife and his outlook on life. Knowing this she asked Komad, "Could you wait outside darling?"

Master Starlighter knows a bit more about babies than you do darling, Greea projected to Komad. She turned to Andros who stood meek as a kataran beast but a glint of amusement flashed in his eyes as if he knew what she was thinking. They waited until the door closed.

Alkea was staring out the window outside the meditation room. She found that the constant stream of speeders and air traffic was soothing. Always flowing with no interruptions. She suddenly wished that her former master were there but she forced calming thoughts to flow through her mind. It came to a halt when she sensed Reyvan making his way towards her. She didn't know what to do and was struggling to say something when he said, "They said I might find you here."

A comfortable subject so she replied, "I needed to think a bit. Master Hethra will be calling for the fleet soon."

"That sounds good. For the Republic I mean. You are after all the best," Reyvan replied nearly blushing. Greea had said to take his time and to be patient so he was trying.

"You aren't so bad yourself," came the reply.

Reyvan smiled a bit like a schoolboy. He then said, "The Jedi Master that arrived. He is awe inspiring isn't he?"

"One of the best. My master knew him well," Alkea began. She then embarked on a history of the great Andros Starlighter and his exploits, well the more famous ones. They stood their talking for a long time.

Caos deactivated this lightsaber and jumped back. Gripping each end of the lightsaber, with the combined power of the force and his muscles, he twisted his lightsabers to the point of it snapping in peaces. "Only a fool defends his life to such a tool. This battle shall be fought using the force, as Jedi of your standards I expect you will honor my request if it's going to be my last."

"Fine." Alkonium replied, deactivating his lightsaber. "I know why Mortis took my son hostage for six months, but the question is do you? Or do you simply do whatever she says without question, like any soldier of the Sith? Did ever occur to you that Lady Mortis may only be using you to get to my son?" Alkonium asked Caos, knowing that it would create doubt in his mind.

"Well after what happened I vowed to never trust my heart with anyone. I even pushed away my own brother," Alkea was saying.

"You didn't want to be hurt again," Reyvan replied thoughtfully.

"I guess but I did learn a few things from Greea. She was right. I can't shut the galaxy out forever but there are some things that I can't allow for my emotions to surface."

"Like heading the fleet." Reyvan spoke that so softly that you would have to be standing next to him to be heard.

"Yes but it doesn't mean that I am heartless, or anyone else for that matter," Alkea explained, "We just have our duty and sometimes it has to outweigh what is in our hearts."

"Not always."

Alkea was interrupted from answering when the twins emerged followed by Malek. She looked at the one who trained her on Dagobah and he acknowledged her with a slight nod. It was Jun-la who spoke, "We should start heading towards the medical wing. Father wants to show us something." She led the way down the hall with Reyvan and Alkea in the back.

Not wanting to end the conversation just yet, Reyvan gently grabbed Alkea by the arm and kissed her on the cheek gently. He said softly, "Duty is to the heart," and he broke off following the party down the hall. It was a good thing he did for he was blushing a shade of red but he didn't see Alkea's own face.
