Hayden Kered
Could some one please tell me how to save pictures from DVDs? I have tried the print screen but when I save the file and reopen it, the image is all black. Also, how can I save like a clip from a movie and save that as a .gif file? Any help would be great. Det. Bart Lasiter
Load the DVD into a video editor like Adobe Premiere (Pro) and export as a GIF. Forget if Premiere Pro has DVD support, haven't have much need of it lately.
Hayden Kered
Ok, I'll give that a try once I download the trial version.
Inyri
Turn off your hardware acceleration (right click your desktop, choose properties, go to the settings tab, and click advanced - you should be able to find it, though it may vary by graphics card). Once hardware acceleration is off, you should be able to use print screen to grab an image from your DVD player. Just remember to turn it back on when you're done! Prime
A lot of PC DVD players have a screen capture function.
Hayden Kered
@InyriForge: I'll give that a try, it will save me the hasle of installing a demo program. @Prime: I'll browse around the settings and see what I can find. Thanks you guys.
CSI
Adobe Premier? Well, I use Adobe ImageReady to create GIF...Which is also good, too... [To poster below:] I know Premier is a video editor, but I think "animated Image" is GIF, which ImageReady can do, too.
