Hayden Kered
Sorry if this does not belong here. I just downloaded a new Firefox themes called Silver Skin, I installed and restarted Firefox and the back, forward, reload, stop, and home buttons are not displaying their icon images. Is there some thing I can do to fix this problem? What it is supposed to look like: What mine looks like:
Bob Lion54
Hmmm... I believe that particular theme is incompatible with FF2.XXXX I looked for it on the FF Themes page and the only one I could find was for FF1.5, so it looks like you're out of luck. EDIT: Can you post the page where you downloaded it?
Carlo El Sanchez
FF1.5 ??? but i thought you could use skins with any FF version.
Rogue Nine
Not when they have newer versions of Firefox out. The skins have to be made compatible with the latest update.

Carlo El Sanchez
Oh, Rogue's right you do need newer versions of FF
Bob Lion54
That is the one I tried to download. The only thing I can think of is that you have an older version of FireFox. The only way that should happen is if you have auto update off. Try this: Right-Click anywhere near or on where the icons should be. Select "customize." In the lower left corner, you can select if it will show "Text," "Icons," or "Text and Icons." I'm still not sure why you were able to download it unless you never updated FF. When I tried to told me it was incompatible... EDIT: I got Ninja Posted! Go Ninjas!! But seriously, check the comments for that theme. There are people complaining that it was never updated... EDIT2: Groovy! Glad you got it working!
Hayden Kered
I have it on auto update, but anyways what you just told me to try worked. The setting was on text. Thanks for the help!
Sabretooth
Precisely what Bob Lion said in his second post. This is no incompatibility or any other such prob. Just some bug of sorts. Switch "Text" to "Icons" or "Icons and Text". It will most likely be fixed that way, or otherwise try reinstalling the theme, after uninstalling it.
