Blessèd Sith
Coming abreast of the ship, Nalaen heard laughter and froze. She blinked a few times and lifted her eyes to the hull. No. It couldn't be. Before she could even reach out with the Force, a familiar face emerged from the loading ramp. When she had thought she had backup, she hadn't thought Kira. But what glorious backup she was. A rare grin lit up Nalaen's face and she wasn't a Sith Lord at the moment, but a girl hugging her friend. The urge to squeal almost won a hard-contested battle within her. The two girls pulled away and Nalaen pulled her cowl up, sweeping her hair into its depths, shadowing her tattooed face. "There is nothing better than watching the life fade from the eyes of your prey." Nalaen's eyes sparkled, even as she looked around at the trees, noting Kira's distaste. She shrugged and looked around some more. "Yeah. Kashyyyk. The Dark Lord said he wanted me here. I didn't ask any questions. I like my head where it is," she commented factually with a nod. "He had to of had a reason." She shrugged then, leaning against the heat of the ship. Felt like home, without the lava. "Right now, however, I'm bored out of my mind and the chakaar I hired is being briefed by my men in my hut. Don't say that to them though, they think it's a base." She snorted. "And now, I'm on a search for my apprentice, as he's supposed to be doing recon. Gods only know what mess he's landed himself in. Apparently there are Jedi here." She eyed Kira then, a smile slowly curling her mouth. "Perhaps you could help with that issue?"
Grace
"With Jedi here," Kira chuckled, "your apprentice has likely got himself into much deeper trouble than he's ever known before..." She frowned. "No, I take that back. He's only in danger of 'it's not too late to turn Light Side' speeches." She smirked, obviously amused. "And as for Jedi..." Her voice changed slightly, the only distinction between the Sith and Jedi halves of the girl. "... Teri Korr, at your service. So Jedi, huh?" "Apparently," Kira agreed. "Now what do you say to helping us find them?" "I suppose I could possibly..." Teri began, but her voice instantly changed into that of Kira. "... hold up." She turned to face Nalaen, her icy blue eyes clearly showing her amusement. "They think your hut is a full base?" She laughed. "They must never have actually seen a base before..." Blessèd Sith
Nalaen didn't even blink at the switch in Kira, instead listening to the odd self-conversation intently. Long gone were the days of wanting to kill that other half of Kira; she had found that a Jedi's mind was a useful thing to have. Know thine enemy was one thing, but to be them . . . Her mind broke off as Kira jerked back to life, laughing at Nalaen and her men. Nalaen grumbled slightly, shrugging a bit to fluff it off. "They know what a base is . . . just bad for morale to not actually have one. I mean, this is a base, technically speaking. Base of operations. But Kira, we're stuck on Kashyyyk! I have two batallions, am using my datapads to organise everything and to plan ops . . . but my real force is the Bounty Hunter I hired and my apprentice." She paused and studied Kira. "And now that you're here, things are looking up for me. Whatever it is that we're planning on doing here, I think we may just have a chance." Huffing, she knelt on the ground in a medatative pose. She had no idea why she had been commanded to take over the Wookiee capital. It had been a surprise assault, a coordinated strike under the cover of darkness. She hadn't even used her sabre until the battle was almost won. Half the dead had been assassinated by the small team of Sith Assassins she had straight-out insisted on bringing with her. She was thankful she had put her foot down (much to the Dark Lord's amusement. Thank the Gods it had been amusement: if he had been angry with her insistance, she wouldn't have been kneeling on the landing dock) as without them, the initial foray wouldn't have gone off nearly as well. Or at all. Ducking her head, Nalaen shut her eyes and slowed her breathing until it was barely perceptable. She dragged the Force within her with each elongated breath, pushing it back out as she exhaled. It was living, ebbing and flowing around her, feeding her, teaching her. Frustration swirlled around her, closing in, caressing her until her eyes fluttered open and she gazed up at Kira. "I do not know why we are here, but when we struck it was fast and hard. Any of the Wookiees not slaughtered escaped near the end when stealth could no longer be preserved. Now there are Jedi here and I wonder; did I come here to kill the Jedi? If so, were my actions to establish a front to better strike them, or was it my actions that were the lure to bring them here? And if either is the case . . . why Kashyyyk?" Forgetting about her apprentice, figuring he'd either show up or be dead -- and she couldn't really do anything about either -- Nalaen pulled out a datapad and hit it a few times. After a moment, she started looking up everything she had downloaded into it before leaving, even if she hadn't read any of it. She found that the stupidest information could be the most useful and always fully documented herself before setting out on a mission. She cocked her head as her eyes scanned the screen. Kashyyyk was a major navigational point? Was that why the Dark Lord had sent an assassin to take over a city? He had to be losing his touch. Lifting the datapad up half-heartedly, she gave Kira a hopeless look. "I'm lost. Don't tell anyone. But I'm up the creek."
Daft Adidas
((( Good three sith! That's enough either BH's wookies or Jedi. )) CSI and Aiya watched their furry companion run off into the distance with his warblade ready. They could sense troops were looking for them but also someone else are more harder target. "Hmm strange." "Too many people on this planet" CSI said. Relenzo2
Darranak had filtered his scans, and now the camp had a good idea of where and what the Jedi camp was. Two Jedi there were, and maybe more that his scans couldn't recognize. Darranak had papers for about seven different bounties for CSI... if they didn't launch attack on the Jedi soon, Darranak would go hunting himself. And next time he would cloak his ship, having learned that the idea was stealth, hope his pay didn't get docked for that. But then it wouldn't matter if he could fly away from this planet with CSI or another couple Jedi's scalps and lightsabers.

Grace
"Your secret's safe with me," Kira promised. Then, smirking a little, she added, "But don't expect me to be of much help in uncovering our purpose... I kick butt, but that's about the extent of my usefulness. I'm a fighter, not a planner." With a slight growl, she glared at the 'base'. "To get here when much of the fighting is over... I feel like I've been sent late." Cocking her head a little, she went on, "However, with the arrival of Jedi... perhaps I'm a little more useful." Turning to Nalaen, she asked, "Do you think that's perhaps why I was sent? To make use of my Jedi half?"

Blessèd Sith
(((Yeah, and being in my camp is an act of hopeful futility and a death wish. ^_____^))) Sighing heavily, Nalaen stood and stretched a bit. "Well, I would hope that your Jedi half comes into use at some point," she teased with a little smirk. Her eyes scanned the area, taking in the rustling of the foliage, the structure of the trees. Drawing a long breath in, she exhaled and as she did, she allowed the Force to flow. Outward . . . outward . . . her eyes fluttered as she sensed the area. Something tugged at the back of her mind. She looked over at Kira. "Let's go back in my base. The bounty hunter might have something. I did hire him at an exorbitant price for a reason. He'd better live up to the reputation . . ." she didn't need to continue. The feral grimace on her face and her sub-conscious clutching of her sabre hilt said enough. And if her apprentice chose to show his face some time soon, that'd be nice. He wasn't dead . . . yet . . . or she would have felt it. She wanted to know what he had scouted. And what this bounty hunter now held for her. Jerking her head in the direction of the hut, she walked to it, knowing that Kira would follow whether she had motioned or not. It really was a stupid base. Then again, setting down a state-of-the-art computer system and structure for military purposes would be as effective as painting a target on her back. Don't invite trouble, the elders would have said, just take it along with you to someone else. Stepping inside the hut the men insisted on calling a base, though the greatest technologies that seemed to be within it were datapads, her lightsabre and the concept of showering, Nalaen glanced around. Then she went to the bounty hunter and looked around him. "So, beroya, have you got information for me? I hear there are a few Jedi camped out somewhere on this damnable planet . . . And I do so love the hunting season." She grinned, flipping her cowl back over her head as she crossed her arms, slitting her eyes to Kira conspiringly. One of them was good. Two of them . . . the Jedi had no hope in haran.

Jedi Atomic
Tekla had spotted the jedi he was tracking and marked it on his map, when he was noticed so he grabbed a speeder and took off with it. As he was coming back he realized he was just leading them to his camp so he stopped the speeder and brought it behind a tree when he sesnsed them coming with speeders. He waited for the right moment when he ignited his black lightsaber, glowing a redish-black, jumped up and slashed at the jedi, knocking his head off his body. He then realized the other was behind him and had jumped off sending the speeder towrds him. He jumped to the side and blocked a major blow from the jedi, knocking him back several yards from the momentum the jedi had. The jedi ran towards Tekla and he parried the slash from atop noticing the jedi's weak spot right away. He quickly force grabbed his other lightsaber, into his becoming free hand and slashed the jedi through his stomach. The jedi fell to the ground, as Tekla hurried over to his speeder. He jumped on and headed to the camp. He zoomed into the camp and noticed Kira's spaceship in the middle. "Yes, finally somebody we can rely on." He headed over to the hut that his master was in, as he tried cleaning the blood from the datapad. He entered the hut, still cleaning the datapad as good as possible before handing it to Nalaen. "Sry Master, little nuisance on the way back." After handing her the datapad he looked over to Kira, "Kira! So glad somebody like you came, unlike the last person. He died before he even entered the battle. He let himself get hit by an artillery strike that we told him about. He let about 20 sith die that die. That fool." Blessèd Sith
(((I was gonna add this earlier, but forgot; Nalaen's Sith name is "Darth Taiasi". I would suspect an apprentice and underlings would call her as such. As it is, the BH and Kira don't o_O Freaking hierarchy.))) Nalaen perked suddenly, her eyes narrowing somewhat. There had been deaths. She could feel it in the Force and some . . . some had been Jedi. Then there was a surge and she knew her apprentice was not only alive, but responsible for some of the carnage. Good on him. Waiting patiently, a necessary learned trait from being an assassin (impatient assassins didn't live long), Nalaen was finally greeted by the presence, then sight, of her apprentice. He spoke as she took the datapad and she gave him a little nod, an amused smile twitching at the corners of her mouth. She scanned the information he had given her and a short-lived grin burst on her face. "Good," she breathed, taking everything in as he and Kira spoke. She had been as annoyed with the Maurader who had been too impertanent earlier and agreed with Tekla's assessment. And this information . . . enemy positions? Movements? Delightful. Wiping this place clear of Jedi would be easier than she thought. And for all she knew, they would even deliver themselves right to her hut. She was up two Sith now; one strong and learning, eager for the kill, and the other well-seasoned and powerful. Knowing where they were now, she could have them tracked by troops and Assassins, so she would be at the ready if the time came to defend. Another smile and she lifted her eyes. "We're on Kashyyyk," she breathed, "why not get in touch with some slavers? They know the planet better than we, and can subdue the Wookiees. They have experience here. They would be yet another advantage." She looked to Kira for argument, or perhaps a development on the sudden idea.
Daft Adidas
The two Jedi carried on walking for another ten minutes getting worried about their wookie friend. Grace
"As much as I despise slavers... you're right," Kira agreed. "They will be useful in many ways... as shall I." To Tekla, she said, "Don't flinch. What you're about to witness is something only Nalaen has seen before." Dropping heavily to her knees, Kira began to change. Her once pure black hair began to fade, paling first to white and then darkening to blonde. Her stature changed ever so slightly. When the change was complete, she stood slowly and opened her eyes. Instead of the pale blue they had been, they were now a rich golden brown. Through the eyes of the Force, hers was the aura of a Jedi. Teri Korr, unwilling servant of the Sith now stood physically before Nalaen and Tekla. "Oh!" she murmured softly. Smiling at Nalaen, she said, "It's been several months since Kira let me in control... I'll need a workbench or something. If I'm going to be your Jedi spy, I can't be carrying around red lightsabers, now can I?" Without waiting for an answer, she turned and strode into the hut. There, she found a suitable table to work with and began. First, she drew four blue crystals from a small pocket in her black outfit. Then, she took Kira's dual sabers and placed them on the table. Frowning, she stared at them. "First thing's first," she murmured. Taking first one saber and then the other, she methodically removed the black leather casing, revealing the silver hilt beneath. Working slowly, she exchanged the deep maroon crystals present in the lightsabers with the blue ones she'd retrieved from her pocket. Then, she reassembled the sabers. "Two final touches," she said to no one in particular. From another pocket, she withdrew a ring about the diameter of the lightsabers. With this, she connected the two into a single saber staff. With a small smile of satisfaction, she unclasped the top hook on her leather jacket and pulled a piece of dark brown leather from an inside pocket. This, she wrapped around the saber staff, completing the Jedi weapon. "There!" Teri said cheerfully. She stood and stretched. "Now, I just need to get to the ship and change into Jedi robes and I'm all set." "I do so love having a Jedi on our side," Kira's colder voice commented. "Especially one so... available." The woman flashed a smile at Tekla. "My other half, Kira is referring to the fact that the Jedi are familiar with me." "Tell him how," Kira encouraged. Teri nodded. "Of course," she agreed. "One or two years ago... I'm not entirely sure which. At any rate, my father was killed by Nalaen there. It drove me mentally insane. For hours, I wandered through the forest where it happened. During that time, the physical change occurred. I became Kira, lost my memory and became a Sith. The planet we were on had the odd distinction of being split into two different time periods. One was the present. The other was four years into the past." "I'm the present self," Kira's voice said. "Teri is the past. We were joined into one body when Nalaen decided Teri had outlived her usefulness. In destroying Teri's body, Nalaen very nearly killed me... for Teri is my past. Without a past, I have no present. But Teri was determined that I should live." "So I took advantage of the fact that my body was dying and transferred my consciousness into Kira," Teri finished. "In essence, I saved her life." "However, the Jedi don't realize that there are two of us in here," Kira said. "So far as they know, Teri Korr was upset by her father's death. She refused to return to the Temple on Coruscant. However, due to various reports of her popping up around the galaxy from time to time, they believe she is still loyal to them." "And all Jedi are told to hope for my aid," Teri said. "No one knows when or where I'll pop up next. The Jedi here on Kashyyyk should be overjoyed when I come staggering into their camp with several burn marks and an ugly saber hole in my leg. They've been told how quickly I recover from such things and that I will be of great use to them." "They just don't know how useful Teri is to us," Kira added cheerfully. With a smile, the woman marched back to her ship. After a few moments inside, she emerged, now looking fully like a Jedi. "All set," she said. "Save for one thing..." She took her saber from its place clipped to her belt and ignited both blades. "Nalaen, shall we give your apprentice a show?" she challenged, flourishing the deadly saber staff. "Show him what it'd really be like to watch a Jedi Knight and a Sith Assassin go at it?"

Blessèd Sith
Nalaen barely glanced at Kira and watched the transformation lazily. She'd seen it before, enough for it to be nothing really interesting. Other than its inherent oddity in that her friend was becoming a different person. Giving Teri a "go right ahead" sweeping gesture with her arm and hand as the girl spoke, she tagged along behind to watch. Idle curiosity and there was nothing better to do. Besides, the Jedi was right. Red sabres were usually a no-no with Jedi. Snickering as Teri told her story (at Kira's insistence), she nodded along almost thoughtfully, or grinned at certain points, quirking a brow at her apprentice. Quite the muddled little history they had; but it worked for them so well. At Teri-Kira's challenege, Nalaen let out an honest laugh, her sabre flying into her palm as the two red blades hissed and boiled out of the hilt, extending alongside her. She gave it a couple twirls, flipping it around her hand a few times before moving her body gracefully into an offensive pose. "I'd love to," she rasped, eyes glinting with malice to those unaccustomed to her, and with great humour to those who knew her well. Practise, teaching, fun and necessity for their chirade. It was times like this that Nalaen was very glad she hadn't killed Teri off.
