dewayne26 Posted January 17, 2007 Posted January 17, 2007 Since we seen toombs of the ancient sith in 1&2. I would like to find something of the ancient jedi in three. possibly on a world forgotten by the republic.
Prime Posted January 17, 2007 Posted January 17, 2007 It seems that the Jedi tradition revolves around cremation, so there wouldn't be much in the way of tombs...
JediMaster12 Posted January 17, 2007 Posted January 17, 2007 More likely it would be centers of learning, not the dark places that Kreia describes but maybe things like holocrons and the like. I guess it is to convey that knowledge is passed down even after death or something.
Darth InSidious Posted January 17, 2007 Posted January 17, 2007 @Prime:There do seem to be some, though. Not all are cremated... Aside from the tomb in JA, there's also Ulic Qel-Droma, 'though I suppose his Jedi-ness is questionable... I get the feeling that very important Jedi were entombed (hence the JA tomb). Perhaps only before the Ruusan Reformation or some other major change in the Order, since it seems the practice is cremation in the films... I think it's an interesting idea.
Emperor Devon Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 It would be an odd thing for a Jedi to do. Their principles preach humility and being subservient to the Force, while a tomb is a very grand (and vain) gesture that places total importance on the individual. Sounds like a rather Sith-ish thing to do.
JediMaster12 Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 Which is probably why there aren't many of those for the Jedi. Of course the Sith would boast of their power. It is always, "Look at me. I am better than you."
dewayne26 Posted January 18, 2007 Author Posted January 18, 2007 Well i wasn't talking bout tombs. i was talking lbout something like ancient acadmey or something that veen abandoned
