Ok, I play on starsider, and the game crashed 4 times last night!!! Is this usual, or is starsider just a buggy galaxy or is my broadband too slow?

your thing is probably too slow as Galaxies is a big game which takes up a bit of memory.

It's a new computer with 2 hard drives, but my internet is 2.2 mps

I play of Sprint's PCS powervision with no crashes. If your crashing its a problem with the interaction between Client and Server or just a bug with the Client. You might want to uninstall and freshly reinstall it and see what happens. If you honestly think that isnt the problem, post up your computer specs, there may be something lacking that you need to upgrade on.

well, the server was offline for a while today, and it's finally back and I've had no crashes, I hope it was just the server.

hell i used to play it on aol and it ran pretty damn good, that is...after I purchased 1 gigabyte of RAM. it ran better than without the ram on a broadband connection. but now i have a 10mp speed so there.

well it is tiny compared to Rogues! i think i have a quite good broadband speed though. hmmm.

I'm on a 1 meg connection, and it works fine. I'm upgrading to 8 soon. damm Virgin Broadband, it takes months to go through...
