Mass Effect

Just finished the downloadable content “Bring Down the Sky” and thought it was well worth both my money and my time. It actually gave me a challenge, which was something Mass Effect has not done in a while. It took me four or five tries to get by one part of the game. Even combat in the Mako was a slight challenge again.

I thought of both Ctrl_Alt_Del and Cygnus Q’ol as I played through the downloadable content and now I really wish all the UNC were this detailed. Some slight disappointments, but overall it was great. One part of the story really had the “I Remember Me” feel.

I hope this increase in AI and tactics are what we can expect in ME2.

...and future downloads as well.

I think I know which part in which you are referring when you had to multi-load. There's only one way through, and it's not very obvious.

At least I only found one way.

Rockets attacks were a bit stepped up as well. No more of that rocking back and forth, long range shots on rocket launchers. They anticipate much better in this one.

They packed in quite a few treats into this one little package. Visually stunning as usual. I think this is the first time I've stopped in the middle of a firefight to watch the sky. I think at one point, I heard an Aerosmith song playing.

As usual, I wish it could have been longer. Loved the new race. They seem ruthless enough to survive. Of course, not if they cross me. I have a feeling we'll see them again.

I went Paragon as usual, not really sure this time if it was the right thing.

I love my Colossus armor heavily shielded and my shottie with explosive ammo. While it cools, I quick-switch and let my team roll. But, that bad boy is one and done with almost any enemy.

I have heared mixed reviews about 'Sky' and at first was weary about purchasing it. Imagine my surprise when i do go to get that new content and find out X-box live only accepts credit cards and not debit.. :(

I hope it comes out on the pc version then.

"Visa' date=' It's everywhere you want to be..." including the Artemis Tau Cluster.[/quote'] American Express - Don't leave home without it!

Then again HerbieZ, you could always purchase 41qSQW6swNL._AA280_.jpg from a local merchant using your debit card.

Mass Effect 2 is going to be a 360 exclusive. Given recent events I think we all know what that means >_>.

Mass Effect 2, the second in a planned trilogy of sci-fi role-playing games from developer BioWare, will be exclusive to the Xbox 360, but possibly for a short time only, a company spokesman told the British gaming site CVG today.

Electronic Arts bought BioWare in January, prompting speculation that the next two installments in the Mass Effect trilogy would be multiplatform in one form or another.

"I believe we'll be Xbox 360 exclusive for at least a short period of time," BioWare senior manager Matt Atwood told CVG. "We're still working out the details on that, but we've had a great relationship with Microsoft and done very well."

Atwood also said a PC version of Mass Effect 2 is also likely. "We haven't solidified the plans yet but we're headed in the direction where we want to be as close as possible [on PC]," he said.
