I am DarthDie creator of ZFX-Mod (that uses some of OJP).I can program, I guess im a ok mapper, and I can reskin. I wanted to know if theres any way I could help OJP(i was looking todo some help in the programming section), now I do have to say my code is not very close to being clean(what do you expect...i'm self taught...besides all I have done nobody but me is gonna see the code ). (i am just messing with all of these emotes ) BTW - Why when selecting force powers do you have to select sense and then you can get other force powers? Is this a bug or you put it in? UDM Posted March 19, 2007 Share Posted March 19, 2007 Nope. I started off as just contributing ideas, then helping out with HUD. It's a freely contributed project. Just contribute whatever you think you can. Of course, what we don't really need right now are models or skins. However, we need new maps for co-op, and of course coders. I'm supposed to help with the mapping too, but atm im too busy trying to get ready my National Service stuff, so I don't have much time for gaming, let alone mapping. You have to have one level of Force See to indicate that you're force sensitive. Anyway, as to contribute, you just have to talk to me about what you want to do. I'll check 'em out. DarthDie It would be a good idea to play enhanced with one of us for a while too before getting into the harder/less obvious bugs though. Our overall combat system is very different from most other mods. It would good to have an wide understanding of how our saber system comes together as a whole in all its techniques as well as how our gunner combat has been shaping up. If you have a thorough understanding of these things, by all means, code away! If not, I'd say wait on the less obvious bugs and PM me or someone seasoned in OJP to get an IM address (since thats how we communicate in the team and with other players) and set up a play session.
