DarthDie
Why don't we have the option for coop to be able to have teams? Like heres a idea from Maxstate: Theres 2 teams, and Team 1 spawn's at one end of the map, and team 2 spawns at other end, team 1's goal is to get to end of the map, while team 2's goal is to stop team 1. Maxstate
My idea is (as always) the culmination and end product of what I've heard people really want, so I won't take all of the credit for it It is my personal feeling that OJP needs it's own gametype, style or theme to really break out, so this is good and gets my vote. BushidoBoy
this could add on to my idea! http://lucasforums.com/showthread.php?t=180210
DarthDie
That helped spark the idea from me , which I then talked to maxstate about.
HamstrYODA
Could be the thing that OJP is missing atm... some objective or some point to fight for. Currently it seems to be just fighting, which is definately great fun but not enough to keep large number of people around. I know many people who like to play day or two but then they start to do something where they can see some kind of goal for their efforts.

I know what you mean, but I think this would be leaning more towards a total conversion flex. If you're talking flash objectives then CTF, Seige, or CoOp would fit the bill imo. I always thought OJP to be a mod with aims of perfecting the saber combat system first. Could be an idea for the future though. What do you have in mind ?? razorace
Yeah, I had been considering that for a while but never got around to it. Really, all this would require would be to make the enemy team spawn at a NPC spawn point or near a NPC. The downside is that enemy team players would be able to trigger scripting events just like normal players.

Well some maps don't allow access to certain areas before something is triggered outside of those areas. Sounds like base defense and hoard the sentries infront of the door that's about to open stuff, fun
BushidoBoy
like a free form siege. sounds fun.
Darth Cariss
I'd like to take this idea one step further. How about instead of just co-op we get Counter-op? By this, I mean, one player (Or many) play as Jaden like normal, but alternately, one enemy player would take control of an NPC in the map (randomly chosen, perhaps). After this player dies, after a short repawn period they take control of another NPC. This would add a way to make an Enemy player in these maps, without giving the good guys an unlimited battle (as the enemy player could only play as long as they are enough NPCs for him to take control of). Reclaimer
Team co-op would be a little sketchy. I mean, the game is designed for one player, so co-op would have to be designed for two, possibly adding controls that both people have to push at the same time, different paths, ect. It would be like rewriting the game pretty much.
Maxstate
I don't believe the premise is being understood correctly, the defending team would not have any other objective except for total annihilation of the other team, they would not be required to move or go anywhere that's verz far. Depending on the difficulz of said maps with live resistance (considering some are hard already) a map could be progressive and every relatively small objective could be one map tier end. Imagine having the objective of flipping over the obelisk to the other side on kor, after doing so, we would either have a cutscene (like normal) or an idea I like; the ability to choose new skills, spend points etc etc. I also like darth Cariss' idea a lot.
