LAPIII
I always where armor and sometimes use energy shields, but that's just not enough. I might evade and hide behind something if I can.
Jae Onasi
You will get hit during the game from time to time, and there's no way to avoid it. Energy shields only block energy--they won't block non-energy based damage such as physical/bludgeoning damage. In addition, you can have the highest defense in the game, but 5% of the time, an enemy will score a hit anyway. Since it's based on the D20 Star Wars role-playing game, the computer randomly 'rolls the dice" (a 20-sided die in this case) to see if you or your opponent(s) score hits during a given battle. If you (or in this case the computer does it for you) 'roll' a 20, it's an automatic hit, and a 1 is an automatic miss. So, whenever the computer rolls a 20 for an enemy, he will score a hit on you and do some damage. I wouldn't worry about it, however, since you can use med packs, the 'Heal' force power, and items that allow regeneration (or in TSL, just wait in a safe area a bit) til your vitality points regenerate. Emperor Devon
Lap, this is something like the 20th help thread you've started - just play the game and don't worry if you do it right!
