Tyrion Posted October 2, 2007 Posted October 2, 2007 Radiohead's so bloody awesome. There's a giant disk set for $80, and then there's a pre-order for the digital album. For the preorder, you can put in whatever price you want: I put in $0:00 both because I'm a cheap bastard and also because paying in English pounds is what barbarians do. You're probably wondering why they're letting it go for free: Radiohead is currently without a label, and is also prone to sticking it to the man prison-bitch style. So if you really like Radiohead and inherited an obscene amount of money from a deceased relative, pay them a $1000. For those of you like me without an online banking account or credit card, just accept the freebie that Radiohead gives you because they love music.
Boba Rhett Posted October 2, 2007 Posted October 2, 2007 Free music? I'm there! Edit: Oh god, that site. It's like having to vigorously pluck your short-hairs with a roll of duct tape.
Tyrion Posted October 3, 2007 Author Posted October 3, 2007 What I want to know is if you can choose the price and then just type in 0 for the price then who's to say that obtaining or downloading it elsewhere is piracy? Which is why I'll be getting it from Rhett if he orders it for free. For the preorder, you can put in whatever price you want: I put in $0:00 It's not piracy.
Negative Sun Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 Well let's hope that sets a "precedent" for the music industry as well...
