El Sitherino Posted December 1, 2007 Posted December 1, 2007 Interesting. On one hand, I'm for preserving culture, but on the other I'd fear taking a shot from one of those horses. It's like Blazing Saddles, but reverse.
Web Rider Posted December 1, 2007 Posted December 1, 2007 chalk another one up for China doing something the rest of the world is upset over.
Rev7 Posted December 2, 2007 Posted December 2, 2007 Tradition is tradition. 500 years is a very long time. If humans fight each other, then why do we call horse fighting "inhumane"?
SilentScope001 Posted December 2, 2007 Posted December 2, 2007 If humans fight each other, then why do we call horse fighting "inhumane"? Because horses are supposed to be BETTER than humans! Haven't you read Guillver's Travels?
Rev7 Posted December 2, 2007 Posted December 2, 2007 If there are no humans to ride the horse, then doesn't that defeat the purpose?
mimartin Posted December 2, 2007 Posted December 2, 2007 I say if it is so much fun why not let the horse fight unarmed men instead of another horse. These are noble creatures and deserve better from us. Moreover, humans are considered the only intelligent life form on this planet. I would say this is evidence to the contrary. Where is that The Voluntary Human Extinction Movement thread, I would like these people to volunteer.
