Exile007
When you have added everything you want to the robes save the file as something. (like my_robe) Then place the file in the Override folder (If you don't have an Override folder make a new one and name it Override, and yes I did spell it right). Then enable cheats in your game and type in "giveitem my_robe" (without the quotes) then go to your inventory and it should be there. Don't ask me how to place it in the game because I don't know how.
LordRevan999
You have to use a .uti file of any item and change its properties to make it appear in game and the name of the uti file e.g a_robe_99.uti you would have to enter cheat like this:giveitem a_robe_99.And you got the robe. Lordjedi
Do I just make the Uti file or do I get it from Kotor Tool?
LordRevan999
Getting from kotor tool is the best method as a generated uti is given to you you can make changes although I had never made a uti file by myself. Okay I tried making one but failed. Will only work if you change properties of a uti file from kotor tool.
Lordjedi
how do I do that?
LordRevan999
Simple open kotor tool. Then go to and open BIFs. Then open templates. Then Open Blueprints, item Then extract a uti file, the best way is to find a similar properties uti file.(which one do you want) Then open GFF editor that is in kotor and open the uti file you extracted. Then change the properties like the Base Item e.g Ion Blaster or Jedi Master robe etc need help on it pm and ask. You also have to change the texture variation number to a number which is going to be use as cheat. For this change the templatesresref in general's tab in gff editor when uti is opened to a name like a_robe_66 Then in tag text box change the name to a_robe_66 And finally change the texture variation number to 66 You would understand That same nuber must be used and then save it or edit its oter properties any help needed will be given OK now open game open cheats console and type:giveitem a_robe_66 and you would get it.Hope its helpful. Lordjedi
But wouldn't that mean replacing an item because I'm making 6 new ones so can you help?
LordRevan999
Ok I didn't explained it well here it goes. The name you use in templatesresref is the cheat being used also forgot to tell that name of uti file should be same e.g a_robe_66.uti. NOW I will explain there are a number of these files in kotor tool If you want to make new items use a name not present in blueprints, items like a_robe_66 is not present so it would give you a custom Item. Lordjedi
1.a_robe_66 is in K2 i'm working on K1 2.What do you mean use one that is not present and how do I get it?
LordRevan999
Use any name like MYRobe.uti.Only edit a uti and change tag and templatesresref to that name you want can you any name trust me.And oh use uti form kotor 1 then but it will still not matter if you use a_robe_66.You can use robe.uti,dark.uti any name any name. Lordjedi
So I don't go into Blue Print item or I use something like g_a_clothes but rename it so it won't replace it?
LordRevan999
You have to go to blueprints, item and extract any uti I prefer and insist that choose the one which would be similar to your model like for blasters blaster uti and armor for armor, robe for robe etc and yeah name it as you like it ain't going to replace it. LordRevan999
use any name you like but in both use same name and then when you save your uti file name the uti file same as the name in templatesresref and tags. e-varmint
Back to the topic I put the files in the game got the items but since I'm using a Dark Jedi Robe for the uti it ends up a dark jedi robe not my robe When that happens to me, it is usually because I forgot to change the texture variation in the .uti file to match the robe's texture file. In this case, the texture file would be named PMBI77.tga.

e-varmint
I am using N_JediMemM01 so what would I do for that?? If you are using g_a_jedirobe02.uti as your starting point, you should be using PMBI02.tga as your starting texture (if it is a male robe). It will look like this: When you have changed the texture, save it as PMBIxx.tga, xx being the last two digits of your renamed g_a_jedirobe .uti file, Example: g_a_jedirobe55.uti, PMBI55.tga.
