JinSarigit
that usually happens If you delete a program before uninstalling it. Were you trying to uninstall it and that message came up or did you reinstall it and it popped up?

HIGH ON PIE 14
How did you delete the game? Did you just delete all the files or did you remove it from your computer entirely. Just deleteing all the files wont get rid of the game. It wont let you install or uninstall. just try removing it from your computer using the add/remove programs panel. This happened to me as well and the add/remove thing worked fine for me.
Zike
Yes I only delete the files. But when i try to uninstall it using the Add/Remove programs it shows me the same message.
Arcesious
Okay... somewhat easy fix. This onyl works if you'[ve got a windows XP. Restart your computer. when it's restarting, continuously press F5 until it brings you to a screen you've likely never seen efore. you will see a bunch of different options. go 'start up windows in safe mode' and press enter. you will load up in safe mode. you will notice the grpahics of your PC are at lowest in this mode, as this is safe mode, and it's for fixing your computer when in normal mode there are files/programs you can't get rid of. now, go to add or remove programs. uninstall KOTOR I completely. if this doesn't work, go to your main drive, whichever one you installed KOTOR on, and delete the program itself without unistalling. just be careful not to remove any vital programs while doing this... now, restart your computer again, and press F5 continously again until you coem up to that screen that you first got to safe mode from. go to the option 'boot up windows normally', and it shoudl load up back into your normal computer settings. now, install KOtOR I. hopefully it'll work. Zike
Wich one from the safe mods should i choose one of the says ~Safe mod with networks enabled~ and i forgot what the other said wich should i choose?
Arcesious
just choose the basic safe mode. safe mode with networks enabled makes it safe mdoe with internet/email type things usable. but goign into the most basic safe mode is the safest if you're ever dealign with a virus. Stream
Delete whatever's left in E:/Program Files/Lucasarts/KOTOR. You could also download a program called Crap Cleaner, no I'm not being rude that's what it's called - well it's C Cleaner now but searches don't come up good for that, anyway it cleans the windows registry and has it's own uninstaller for all programs on your machine and it's just a great piece of kit. At one time my laptop was rubbish... well it still is... it wouldn't even start up task manager but after using C Cleaner it's a lot better. --Stream
