The Last Ninja
Hi, Is there a way to change the Bao Dur Remote appearance to T3-M4 ? Thx
Darth Kalverys
Yeah... I don't have TSL installed, but I can tell you how. Open up the Remote's .UTC file in Kotor Tool and at the dropdown menu at the Appearance, change it to NPC_T3... or something like that. But it'll be T3's appearance. ganoesparan06
Well im sure that if you use an existing animation for something else in game the original sort of dissapears. I know that happened with certain characters heads when using them for the PC... But maybe that was only in K1?
Darkkender
Animations and appearances are 2 different subjects. You can change the appearance of any character in the game to another appearance provided that appearance isn't a test model of some sort and the character will act like the new appearance for behavior and the sort. ganoesparan06
Oh! Like the bug I had where the appearance of Handmaiden appeared as HK-49 in the HK Factory Restoration Mod? EDIT: I'd still use 3C-FD...
The Last Ninja
Edit is done but remote is still the same. Tried to clean override and stuff but remote still the old one.
Darth Kalverys
Yeah... sorry I forgot to mention... either you need to start a new game or you need to have a game save BEFORE you meet Bao-Dur and the Remote.
The Last Ninja
Argh, is there anything I can change in the save file ?
Darth Kalverys
You could use KSE to change it...
The Last Ninja
Ok made it, using ERF editor to extract UTC from the save file. Then opening the utc with Kotor Tool, modify it. And Re Insert it with ERF editor.

Ferc Kast
No; You place the modified utc file in your override folder, not back into the thingamabob (can't remember what it's called).
