Sithspecter
I have created an M-16 w/ a grenade launcher. The only problem is, you can't launch grenades from guns (yet). I would like some help as to writing a script/ editing the feats/spells.2da files. If anyone can help me do this, I would appreciate it very much. Taak Farst
I might be wrong, but i dont even think it is possible to do in KOTOR
Darkkender
It's not, a few different people myself included have monkeyed around with this very thing on numerous occasions. One of the many problems is the animations. The other is the fact that guns and swords cannot have triggered spell type scripts from them. We have tried it with even creating a new baseitem with no success.
Sithspecter
Well, I'd only use say the power blast animation and maybe a new feat. Almost exactly like a bullet, just a grenade. It would almost be like a droid ray or something.
Darkkender
The biggest hurdle is really not the animation it is the fact that weapon baseitems cannot seem to get scripts to be fired from them at all.
Sithspecter
Maybe, it could be a combination of say, an armband that adds a spell, and the gun. The gun could have a new feat that the armband requires- hence possibilities for limited ammo. I'm not too experienced with all this, so I'm just throwing thoughts out there.
