For the next 25 days, the days of advent, I will be doing a countdown of famous forumers in alphabetical order, starting with...

 

A is for Al-Back From the big Whoop

Al entered the forum a while back with his friend Al, and both became a regular poster on the MI2 board. After a short sabattical, Al-BFTBW returned. With his abbreviations, he confused many. But then we got to know him better. He had brief run-ins with imposter AI-Back From the big Whoop and Dinghy Dog, but he is still an important part of keeping the forum alive.

B is for Brighteyesmonkey

Brighteyes came into the forum one of the older forumers, in real age that is, but had a certain flamboyant charm. Known for his colourful and often humourous sigs, Brighteyes cottoned onto his own catchphrase, 'LET'S BOOGIE PEEPS!', completed with his bongo-playing monkey.Brighteyes was a key part of the temporary forum, posting 'picture of the day' and reminiscing about the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. He was a guy we loved.

Unfortunately, his return was overshadowed by his controversial sig, 'Destroy Fizz', complete with platform game hero Megaman. Some forumers found this offensive, crude and immature. So Brighteyes left for a very short while once again. On his return, he abused the Secrets and managed to get the idea that he was the forum's messiah. Not now the fun-loving guy he once was, Brighteyes left in scandal and controversy. He shall be sorely missed.

Coming into the forums, newfoundgloryboy made an immediate splash. Becoming one of the forum's top posters, he soon filled in the mod spot left vacant by Ydon, alongside murta. After run-ins with NiKo, and with the backing of many forumers, NiKo was banned, although this wasn't NFGB's decision.
